People complain about top lane, but like

mages? Work fine!

Junglers? Usually work just fine!

Supports? Work fine

Adcs? Fine

Juggernauts? Fine

Bruisers? Fine

Assassins? Fine

tanks? Nah..

Tanks are fine and outside of a few weak picks (because of pro play; Shen) you can pick most of them to success.

Tanks are just not a strong class for soloQ environment because they're balanced around the assumption that your teammates know how to play.
