No, I did my placements, got silver, never bothered playing ranked again. Sometimes just to not decay to bronze.

I play on my phones hot spot sometimes in diamond. It's pretty doable.

He's not wrong though.

People that have spent less than a week on the game can often hit silver.

To get out of Bronze, you literally just have to play safe and farm. You'll have more gold than anyone, even people with 15+ kill advantage because they're all horrible at farming. Proceed to 1v5 because you have a 3k+ gold lead on everyone at 20 minutes and most people are too stupid to build a single defensive item if its not a part of the MOBAfire build they're following.

Using you as an example, you take TP+Ignite top almost universally. You're just looking for kills, not looking to win the game. Example of bronze tactics.

i take ignite for more damage sense i play a lot of tanks top and i build tanky on them so i take damage where i can and if i get a kill great otherwise im trying to push the enemy back i take TP to get anywhere faster whether it be getting back to top to farm or save tower or to another lane to help there

i don't take flash in place of either because: for ignite: im trying to push them and if i die that is my problem for not paying attention to my health for TP: if im needed somewhere flash is not going to get me there faster then TP

yes i know he isn't wrong but he could be more helpful instead of being an ahole

well dont take ignite tp on a tank

take flash tp

you are tank not a carry or damage dealer

always take flash unless the champ you play benefits from summoner 6

and sometimes summoner 3 summoner 4 does alot more if you dont utilize summoner 12 correctly

Flash. Always. For those lcs big plays. And Tp, always, for those lcsbigflanks.

Really, you should always take tp top lane. Not taking it pretty much assures you lose late game unless it's a total stomp fest that ends at 20 minutes.

If you've got a champ with extreme mobility like hecarim it's acceptable to take ignite/tp but you generally will want flash or you basically put a sign around your neck that says "free first blood here! Come and get it jungler!"

As a top laner, no. For mid lane and support there are situations you will want this.

i used it top as Maokai vs Darius and made his life hell ... he couldnt do anything in lane or escape a gank even if he used flash

and i find it helpful vs champs like Fiora Yasuo top

It certainly is helpful, and if for some reason your mid laner took tp you can afford to take the combat summoner without sacrificing too much in a strategic sense, but just knowing these matchups can keep you from needing a combat summoner as top lane is very much a "play around the power spikes" type of island most games.

Playing a tank top to carry isn't helping yourself, especially when you're running ignite for some god damn reason along TP with some random tanky top laner that deals like no damage? If you used your braind and played smarter this would be pretty obvious, I say this because bronze players don'tt use their brain.

They have, in some very specific scenarios like the cinder hulk era right after the item was released and the smite upgrades were ridiculous op that bred the brief tp/smite top lane meta. And whenever melee champs are meta in top lane hecarim can be seen there and almost always runs tp/ignite. But these are very specific scenarios that have universally included champs with extreme mobility tools as the top lane picks in those situations.

It's not always about making a play. It's also about exposing yourself to a play. Playing without flash opens you up to an easy early camp. This can result in a lead for the opposing team that then snowballs out of control. All because you didn't take flash.

If you take no flash top lane against me, you WILL die before 3:30. 100% of the time. And you probably will never be able to get back into the game. Eventually you become useless. This makes the game a 4v5. 4v5s tend to result in losses an overwhelming majority of the time. In essence, your preference for tp/ignite is costing you 20-30% of the wins you could be achieving.

It's doubtful you'll ever reach a skill level where you encounter me.

But for the sake of debate how do you avoid a gank from something like Evelynn Zac Shaco Hecarim LeeSin at level 3 with no flash? You simply won't be able to.

Quite simply you make it impossible to play consistently in the early portions of game by taking the spells you take and this will absolutely be punished by players with half a brain. You're not only gimping yourself, but the team because you create a problem that then spills over into every other lane mate.

This is as polite and constructive as criticism comes on the boards. It'd be wise to heed the advice.

i play safe until i get my ult anyway so level 3? no problem unless you want to dive a 75%+ health tank under a full health tower in that case please do. and i love that you are being kind it is really nice to see truly but TP ignite is easily more then half the reason my W/L ratio in norms is almost even. so even tho your advice is soooo much better then the insult that the OP has given and i thank you for that but i will continue to play TP ignite sorry

And that's your prerogative mate, I merely inform people of the ways they can best put the odds in thier favor. At the level you play at the truth is those coordinated and flawlessly executed level 3 dives with perfect turret aggro swap won't happen often so you can certainly make the case that the level a particular set is used makes a difference and I'd tend to agree with it. There's no reason you can't be successful playing your style and what you find comfortable, but be prepared and willing to adapt as your circumstances change too so that you always put yourself in the best possible position for success. how can i suggest something to people who would listen to the bronze player anyhow. you don't need flash on a tank if you keep an eye on your health and be mindful of the enemy's damage potential take the kill if you can and if no one else could otherwise be tanky
