IMO it's close between E and Q. E is hard on the red side but not so much on blue side which is weird.

The problem is, even if veigar places his W really well, I have time to realize "Oh man, he placed that well, I'm gonna get hit." and then walk away and take no damage.

You are right that people make mistakes. Though it feels weird that without his stun, you are basically counting on it. In many cases, Vei also depends on enemy mistakes in landing a stun.

I honestly feel that Veigar W is actually far more dangerous when you don't use his e during a hectic teamfight, because most people are of the mind, that he needs cc to land it, and with how subtle the animation for w is unless your specifically looking for it doing a teamfight. They won't even try to move.

combine that with the fact that it does the same dmg as his ult (minus 180 flat dmg) yes it is dangerous. But it's the unreliability that makes it so aggravating for a skill shot. Out of all skill shots, I'd say veig's W has the most unreliability in it to compensate for what it does.

Anivia Pretty sure her Q is the single slowest missile in the game lol. It's not that skinny, but there's plenty of time to move at mid-long range, and if you have a teleport like Akali/Katarina you can just jump past it into melee every time.

Not that I find it hard myself, I just assume others might. :3

I feel like AoE projectile skillshots like Heimerdinger's grenade, Nami's bubble, Zilean's bombs are the hardest to master (which is why they usually come with nifty effects like CC or strong damage). Malzahar's Q is also one of those skills where you need a bit of practice to land it perfectly, reliably.

I used to have problems with this one but tonight I got her in aram and started my ult just as the teamfight began instead of holding on to it. First thing that happened is my hit rate went up and I actually got it off more.

Try ulting sooner and then release the blast when you need to.

That is how Riven's ult is meant to be used. It lasts for a long time, so you pop it early for the steroids, and then use it again for the for the kill. If you are trying to save it, and then double tap it just for the execute that is the wrong thing to do.

... Nami Q and Ahri E are far from difficult skill shots.

Syndra E is only difficult now because of all the wonky changes, unless you meant hitting like a Bowling Split style, then it's insanely difficult.

Anivia Q double hit, Heimer's W Ultimate probably the two hardest imo. You might be able to land part of it, but landing the best case is much more difficult.

EDIT: Just to clarify, I mean landing it on intended targets. It becomes pretty useless once a teamfight has already broken out because you usually hit just as many of your own players as their's.

Word of advice from a player who has all his spells set to quick cast and self cast. To correctly use vector targeting in quick cast, try placing your mouse at the origin point, then depressing the key and before releasing it, you drag your mouse in the direction you want the spell to go, then release. Granted actually doing it should be quick like less then a sec, when your good, but i found that the best way to do it. Good luck and i hope you get the hang of it.

Edit: Yeah a soraka stun must be extremely hard due to the fact that it is impossible
