Mordekaiser what nerfs? Lol. If anything, he got buffed. Just because he can't DFG pop you anymore doesn't mean it's not a buff. His W and R work a lot better now. He is incredibly tanky now and can still deal a lot of damage overtime.

incredibly tanky now

Say what? Nothing changed about his tankiness.

i certainly must disagree now mordekaiser and raise the defensive stats of an ally with w and he will also get the w effect his direct tankiness hasn't changed but the overall tankiness he can provide for the team is buffed

His ult actually gives him more tankiness (HP) as well instead of giving him nearly useless AD.

Because he's been numero uno for years

Mord still does too much damage early on...it's actually kind of astounding that riot would sign off on him.

The only thing that got nerfed was the DoT on his W... How the hell is that a nerf?

Base HP regen reduced by 70% isn't a nerf?

OperationDEEZ11 votes

To be honest I usually have enough gold for Revolver by the time regen becomes a problem.

Not much of one. They lowered hp costs on all his skills at the same time, and who does a high regen build on morde? Spell vamp is so much better.

Siphon still costs 72 health per cast at rank 5.

And well you can either start amp tome with one pot and go back twice or go rejuv bead + 5 pots....tradeoff between getting exp and staying alive to get revolver

I use scaling health and spell vamp on him, start tome and pot, almost always able to stay in lane till I have enough for revolver, unless I get super camped by jungle, even then, jungler's usually just another target to charge my shield off of. Hardest to deal with is a stealth jungle that you can't see coming even if you ward well. After revolver, I never even notice I have spell costs, you gain more than the cost back unless you're just spamming E and missing the target.

Edit: I wouldn't recommend going bead on morde anymore, they did nerf that build path with nerfing his base hp regen. If against AD, maybe go cloth and pots, against AP, either tome and pot, or boots and pots if they're skillshot based (morg, liss, cho, kenn, etc)

I feel like if used right, the MS buff on his W is a net buff for him. FYI, you can use it on minions for free speed burst. I don't think they're taking him in the right direction, but I can't say changes were a nerf. And I never used DFG on morde anyway, and did fine/still do fine. DFG was overkill on squishies, and....why where you full burst comboing the tank again anyway?

His win rate and play rate went up.

Raid Boss Morde1 votes

His winrate actually dropped. It used to be 52%-53%, now it's 48%.

Not on the three patches before 5.4, where the changes occurred. Patch 5.4 and 5.5 so far are better than 5.0, 5.1, and 5.3.

Because it wasn't a nerf?? Did you read the notes? Range buff on q, 2 people affected by w instead of 1, better benefits from the ghost....the hp regen nerf was the only "nerf" and it was offset by the hp cost reductions for his spells.
