Silver Bolts is an on-hit effect.

Morde Q is an empowered auto.

This isn't a matter of inconsistency as much as it's just a matter of Mordekaiser being completely fucking broken on a technical level. Dude has over 108 bugs.

Probably because they only used one cheek for his rework; it used to be like a luden's echo item on command, before they changed it into an awkwardly chained auto-attack.

yes it is, if you build hexteck gunblade you will just receive 33% of the total healing on your q, does not make any sense.

It's due to how his q was before it was changed - they apparently never updated the classification

funny thing is that his old Q worked as single target if used vs only 1 target, so it **was **actually coded quite well

My understanding is that it always only healed for 30% (with WOTA, etc) since it was coded as AOE, but I never tested it out so I could be mistaken.

His 1 q cast has the potential to hit more than one target during the same cast and therefore is aoe.

this dont make any sense, aoe "area of effect" is an ability which will hit more than one target at the same time in one cast.

press q once swing 3 times and its possible to hit more than one champion minion etc therefore it is aoe. for it to be single target it would have to press q again after pressing q the first time to reset it like camille's q which would be even more busted on mordekaser because of his high q damage and its low cooldown you give him auto resets of 4 auto attacks in a row.

Because silver bolts is a 3 hit on hit passive. Morde's Q is an active and works consistently like other actives. For example, you can't stack Trundle Q's or Wukong Q's with rageblade either
