Why have them when you're better off buying the actual skin? They're near impossible to unlock, give you less than what it should, and re-rolling them has a pretty good chance of getting you a less valued skin. Why even pay for chests at all? What kind of shitty business practice is this?

TheProfezzor1 votesI will admit I did this too but the issue here is having enough OE to make anything permanent. The nerf to OE DE values makes skin shards even more worthless then they originally were.

Yeah, it's unlikely you'll get the exact skin you want, but the point is it's a free skin. There is a .01% chance you'll get the skin you want for the champion you want for free, but that's still a possibility, vs the 0% chance you had to get the skin for free before when skins were only purchasable through RP.
There's a chance, that's all it is.
