Is there any possibility, a champion that with only his/her presence, can make the night/day cycle of the rift ticked? Like every X minutes the rift will experience night for Y minutes.
Night is considered as frightening time with many ghost, undead and devil. Maybe a champ that is a leader for such creepy army? Or he/she's the devil his/herself. Can we have such champ? C'mon the night/day cycle is enough unique for the league itself !!
I doubt it'll ever happen because Riot will cite reduced visibility with certain spells as their reason.
It was already discussed the possibility about making a day/night cycle by default - but graphically is not possible because all the texture is "hand-painted" and can' t swap colors properly ( no link at hand sorry).
Also, for a such mechanic i would make something bigger than a champion...
I think there were some mentions on a mechanic like that possibly having a bad interaction with the game.
That said riot has made champions with bad interactions before so it might be possible,.
