Yasuo goes mid, and feeds 0/12/1 by the end of the game.

Mafia LeBlanc··59 votes·10,078 views

When he is 0/5/1, I ask to please be safe, buy armor and ward for Vi. He then proceeds to die 2 more times and fake-DCs for a few minutes.. comes back and feeds more.

There is zero excuse for a mid laner to ever go 0/12/1 in a ranked game. Ever. Even if it's your first time playing a champion, dying more than 6 times before 10 minutes is unacceptable. AFK'ing after dying this many times is unacceptable.

If you are dying to an AD champion, buy armor - I don't care if it's the meta build or not. If you're dying to an AP champion, buy a neg cloak. I don't care if it's meta build or not. Stop stacking damage and crit when you can't step in lane without instantly dying. PD isn't going to help you when you're that far behind that the enemy is oneshotting you - you have to be able to hit the enemy first before it procs, and you can't if he hits you before you're able to.

https://s28.postimg.org/nbav8m4al/asdfhjk.png

I know this is going to get downvoted, but don't let this person be you. There is no reason to ever die this much in a game, essentially making it completely unwinnable for the rest of your team. It's not hard. I have -never- died this many times in a ranked. After checking his op.gg, he literally almost never dies less than 10 times in a match.

Gather round all, I will tell a tale of wonder that most will disbelieve, but I assure you it is true!

There was once a clash between legends on the rift. A battle true by the boy who shattered time, Ekko, and the unforgiven, Yasuo.

Yasuo was beating Ekko as if it were 2v1, as if the wind was truly by his side kicking Ekko in the nuts.

Then two things happened, one mundane, the other a miracle. Ekko received advice from another champion... They spoke with concern, but also respect. They said unto Ekko "When you return to base, get two cloth armors, trust me." Then the miracle happened. Ekko DID IN FACT buy two cloth armors.

When Ekko did return to clash blades with the unforgiven warrior, neither his blade, nor the wind by his side could kick Ekko in the nuts anymore. With glee and exuberant acquisition of confidence at this turn of events Ekko thanked the sage and fellow champion who gave this advice.

The sage went on after being thanked to expound upon the reasoning for this turn of events.

The first cloth armor is countering the armor penetration of Yasuos rune collection, the second cloth armor is giving you enough protection to survive his attempts to skirmish long enough to either escape, or kill him.

That day, the boy who shattered time also shattered Yasuos spine like 10 times after taking the advice of another.

I permabanned him for almost a full year until Kat became way too much to handle. I don't want a Yasuo on their team. I don't want a Yasuo on my team. Bring on 5 bans Rito.

His ban rate is 60%.

He has the highest ban rate of any champion.

The forums didnt inspire that.

The extremely popular Yasuo hate inspired that ban rate, as well as the forums hate.

Yasuo hate is well earned by the number one toxic pile of ass to play against champ in the game (irregardless of power level) he is hated because he is not fun to play against.

Not just yasuos, everyone gets tilted so easily because the average player age is getting lower and lower , just had a premade luc/blitz bot lane who called int in champ select, and I was in promos so I atleast tried to talk them out, didn't work. http://matchhistory.eune.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/EUN1/1614820138/29388526

He wasn't literally running down mid into turret and taking free turret shots, no. But he was constantly trying to dual a 10/0 fed Corki over and over, refusing to change any of his strategy, and refusing to listen to advice to buy defensively and play safe. Even if you're completely zoned off minions, just passively soak XP. In mid, it's almost impossible to zone someone, especially Yasuo with Windwall, off xp range. Sure, they'll have terrible CS, but at least they'll get base stats from levelups that will help them not die over and over and over.

And he -did- go AFK multiple times during the match for several minutes at a time. That is not allowed and is almost as bad as inting.

I tried this oh, so safe play style vs a renekton top. Tower dives started at lvl 4 where he out traded me under my tower, then went on to kill me for his second trade. I even bought an ancient coin to sit back and give up cs. But his double E covered so much range and still gave him more than enough damage to chunk me regardless of where I was. Terrible day for me. I also got called bad, a piece of shit, useless and brain dead although I also never received any help.

Reposer2 votes

Because this is definitely a Yasuo only issue.

I mean, someone who does this would probably just do it worse if you int ban them out of their champ with no reason other than 'I don't want you to play this because you'll probably feed'

funny assumption :buy armor and neg cloak and it will magically put you back into the game. this season if you died 6 times in 10 minutes no thornmail sunfire neg cloak combination is going to make you come back. teammates babysitting your lane and trying to carry you will.

while there is certain truth to your post OP , buying armor and mr just sets you back even further than you already are and you will be useless in a fight without dmg as a drumbells , dmg dealer.

i can´t recall any games where someone behind in mid / bot / top came out ahead again without help but just by itemizaiton.

Weasel Kensei2 votes

Itemization done too late wont help, but if the problem is addressed quickly then it can turn things around.

Stop building that Trinity, or Black Cleaver. Go immediately into your lanes best defensive option for your class.

In a lane bully match up if they can all in + ignite you for a kill, and do so... you are now dead. Gold goes to them. If they do this again, you have now given them about 600 gold plus whatever farm they picked up after they killed you. This will be the pattern of the lane from now on. Youre correct, they will need babysitting to fix this.

Now building some items to keep you alive, maybe something with life steal to help keep you sustained, or more HP, some resist. These will stop the all in buffet they were doing to you previously. Once that stops, you can now hold out and stop feeding them more gold to beat you over the head with.

See were not always trying to turn a lane 180 degrees. Thats a little unrealistic. We should aim for one category of change.

3 lanes usually exist:

Winning - Either snowballing on kills, or chunking your opponent and them sitting back and watching you farm.

Going even - Neither of you has much kill pressure on the other, and the farm is within 1-5 CS at nearly all times.

Losing - Youre either getting shit on and cant farm, or they have killed you several times and will do so again if you let them.

Itemization is aimed at hopefully going from Losing > Going even from that point on. They will still have that lead on you, but the goal is to stop the lane from being a free farm bonanza, maybe turn it into a lane the jungle can gank and get you some gold.

Continuing on with your damage build vs a champ that is shitting on you, will just mean they will continue to shit on you. They are obviously doing more damage than you are, and are getting gold faster than you are. You will never win the damage race.

In bot lane, losing ADCs will still often rush an IE. Sometimes the correct action is to get a Vampiric Scepter for some extra life steal, and to upgrade your boots to tier two so you can mitigate chip and poke damage. Sure, you delayed your damage doing this, but now you can stay in lane longer, get more farm, and avoid falling behind any more than you already are.

To be fair, buying Armor or MR after your lane is fed doesn't really help. Had a bad game, bought MR while behind and still got ass blasted. Had a great game, enemy laner bought MR, ass blasted him every time I could.

It's not going to make you useful by any means, but it will certainly help you farm up some cs while not risking being blown up in one combo. It makes the difference in dying in 3 auto attacks or 5.

Granted, once he was 0/10/0, any chance of him doing -anything- was flushed down the toilet, but the point is you should be doing this after 1-2 deaths, when you can still at least hold your own in lane.

TheOnlyJoe2 votes

Which is why you should buy MR or armour as soon as you notice you're struggling to sustain in lane, not after you get killed 5 times in a row.

Guess it's just build normally and play safe/give up more cs and towers then?

Truth. Worst thing about LoL is that whether you succeed or fail has very little to do with your own abilities (unless you are so far above everyone else in the game that you're effectively a Challenger player playing in Bronze) and everything to do with the average skill (or lack thereof) of your team vs your opponents. In an ideal game, you'd gain or lose LP at the end of the game based not on whether you won or lost, but on how well you personally did your job. Unfortunately, such a system is completely impossible to implement, so we're stuck with this bullshit system where you can do everything perfectly and still end up losing 20 LP (and wasting an hour of your life) because your mid and jungle both fed like it was going out of style and your toplaner ragequit out of frustration. And we STILL get endless retards snarking that "if you lose, it's always YOUR fault" because of a blatant refusal to admit that anything can ever happen for reasons beyond your control, displaying a COMPLETE failure to grasp reality.

  • Loses tower before 10 minutes because of 4 man ganks
  • They easily reach our inb by 15, people flaming each other
  • We lose, I lose LP, and my team continues to flame

B, but ... you told me if I was above my tier, i'd climb? :( (Sorry to poke fun at your post, but yea ... it's a team game. Unless you're a hyper carry that got fed early and their team doesn't 1v5 as you push, there's no way especially if you're a Support main like myself.)

Rubbish.

Pick (high damage support of your choice)

Go in on your lane, but your ADC is an idiot and doesn't back you up on getting easy kills, so you die 1v2.

Team rages at you for being a "trash noob feeder".

Switch back to playing more passive, but jungle refuses to gank for you and ganks top instead, gives double kill when enemy jungler counters.

ADC insists on going extra aggressive now that it's too late and you're already behind, dies, flames you for "not helping noob OMG I afk".

Mid is 0/7 before 15 minutes and continues turret diving anyway.

You can't do shit because everyone on your team is behind and you're just a support.

Your nexus goes down at 24 minutes, you lose 20 LP and your entire feeding retard team rages at you and report you because you're the support which means everything is your fault because "OMG no wards noob!" (you constantly had the maximum number of wards you could place down while nobody else placed any and didn't pay any attention to the ones you were placing anyway)

LoL.

That is no excuse, most squishy mid lane mages die instantly from a Vi gank, but most squishy mids don't have near the same mobility/dash/shielding that Yasuo does. That is why wards exist.

Yasuo has mobility in the minion wave... His E won't save him from a gank with targeted CC like Vi's ultimate. He is super oppressive when ahead and becomes useless when behind. Once you kill him 2 times, you can start diving him, because his base stats are similar to an ADC - very low hp, no MR per lvl.

Sorry, but no. Compare him to someone like Malz, Cassiopeia, Vel'koz, Xerath, Lux, Viktor, or Annie - Yasuo can dash around the minion wave, and save a minion near his turret to dash to last to give him an escape; Lux & Annie can't do -anything- once vi is on the screen and flash + ults.

And diving Yasuo is always risky, especially as a ranged champion because of his bullshit windwall. No matter how far behind he is, he can completely block your entire combo, leaving you vulnerable under turret. Corki has no way to hit Yasuo when he puts windwall up. Yasuo is one of the safest champions in the entire roster. Only Lee Sin, Zed, and LeBlanc rival him in mobility and complete safety.

Plus, even if a Yasuo is 0/5 he always retains the ability to come back into the game if he lands one good tornado / ult, or uses warlord's bloodlust and his mobility / free resources to CS.

Even when Yasuo feeds like crazy in lane, in my own experience, he usually comes back into the game around 20-30 minutes because they're not retarded/willfully malicious like the one in the picture, and understand to stay back and farm and wait for late game when they can cc/disrupt an entire team with his ulti.

Fly Fish Master2 votes

You are implying that Vi can't do the same thing to Yasuo. Diving Yasuo isn't risky at all if you are a melee champion that has a point and click ult with hard cc. The excuse you give is extremely situational and Vi would just gank from behind Yasuo.

Xeruon4 votes

Yasuo's mobility is mainly there to play around his opponent during trades, and does little in terms of helping him escape. His windwall is also useless against point-and-click CC junglers like Vi Hecarim

Fly Fish Master2 votes

Yasuo's dash will not save him from Vi Qing him. She will save it to make sure she hits you with it when you have no enemy minions to dash onto. Also, Vi usually ganks from around the walls of mid and not just from the brush unless you are pushed up and she has follow-up from the mid laner or she has her ult. Yasuo's shield only lasts for a sec when proc'd and Vi can easily do more dmg than the shield is providing. Warding will not save you from Vi deciding to just dive you with the enemy mid laner because CotC is balanced.

Ironically enough, we already have one 0/14/1 yasuo here claiming he's innocent after getting 14days ban: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behavior-moderation/3ebJ6oJ4-i-got-wrongfully-banned-for-14-days He even provided a video of all his deaths, where it's clearly visible he wasn't even trying to play safe but tries to use it as a "proof" of unjust ban anyway.

TwitchOneTrick694 votes

He wasn't doing it intentionally though.

duckarp2 votes

How do you know? From what I saw, the guy managed to die 14 times in 22 minutes (that means he couldn't stay alive for 2 minutes straight) and based on his video, he was trying to duel that fed lee even when he was 4 levels behind and had just a single item finished. Over and over. How is that "not intentionally"? Did he repeatedly (14 times) got caught "by accident"? Under enemy turret, pushing when his turrets were long gone?

We are not talking about some newbie who just installed the game, but about a person who played the game for AT LEAST 3 seasons and managed to earn gold. "Intentionally" doesn't mean you need to buy 5x tear and just run down the midlane. It means you intentionally keep dying and feeding the enemy, even though you clearly see it's just getting things worse. You can try to hide it or even pretend you didn't mean it, but it doesn't change the facts.

Arcane Azmadi2 votes

Agreed. You don't have to be walking directly under the enemy turret to be "intentionally feeding". Repeatedly doing things that you KNOW are stupidly suicidal, even if they're technically "legitimate plays", is still feeding and should still be punished. Actively refusing to stop being a retard is just as harmful to your team as walking straight up the lane.

duckarp1 votes

And he just got unbanned, because "it was just a bad day", by Riot Chastise. No other explanation given and he even apologized to him. I guess it's ok to feed intentionally today. If you get caught, just link back to that thread. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Enloct1 votes

That's not intentional feeding. That's being dumb as fuck and playing a champion that can outduel almost anyone and thinking you still can 13 deaths later.

duckarp1 votes

If you play for at least 3 seasons and you manage to get to gold, there's a good chance you know what will such behavior result into. If you decide to do it anyway, over and over and over, how is it "not intentional"?
