ADC with TP and smite Mid lane

Care to explain me?

Is Mid just powerfarming with Smite and counterjungling? Is Heal and Barrier not needed since the Support pack way too much of them? Is Lifesteal too strong on ADC that they don't even needs heal or barrier anymore?

  1. Yes that's mid in a nutshell, because you don't want to overextend your lead and lose the game. (Meta)
  2. Yes support is there to (help) the team.
  3. No lifesteal isn't entirely strong, it's trading a lot of factors when it comes to lifesteal. For example lifesteal vs crit, players would prefer the crit because in teamfights you'll usually want the most out of your dmg, not sustain with little to no dmg in a fight. (Infinity Edge vs Bloodthirster)
