How Do You Build Aatrox?

Just had a game and wanted to try out Aatrox. My opponent was Irelia, who was 0/4 at the time i 1v1d her. My KD being 0/0/4 (Gave Yi the kills), and i had 50 more cs than her. My items were and . Her items were . Yet in the end, she still ended up killing me. She was level 9, and I was level 11 ?? Both had full health and everything.

Full Build I Use In Order:

Skill Mastery: Q: 4 8 10 12 14 W: 2 13 15 17 18 E: 1 3 5 7 9 R: 6 11 16

Anything you see wrong with my overall Build on Aatrox?

last time i checked Irelia has true damage, so those boots are questionable in my opinion prob better to get item 3009 or other boots.

dont really play irelia so no idea but im pretty sure shes really really strong right now... so bad idea to try and 1v1 her

seems rather odd that u would lose with such a big lead... I would suggest maybe some attack speed first because after she gets the stun off shes probably gana chunk you, so getting some W heals in is crucial to winning the trade at that point.

it def might of helped.. i didnt see the fight, im just making a guess based on the champions kits. Irelia can usually burst a target pretty hard if she gets the stun off. Generally leaving the other guy with very little time to recuperate. So potentially yeah botrk might of won you the duel based on what i know. But again, i didnt see the fight lol.

Mastery 18/0/12 with Bloodlust or Fervor .. depens on matchup

Item core: item 3153 item 3111 item 3812

Then i generally go defensive based on enemy team with item like item 3143 item 3065 and so on

Skil: E-W-Q then R>E>W>Q

As for the specific match up you messed up with this: item 3074

Minion are your main source of Dmg/Hp ... vs Irelia you shoud have just charded you W jumped on her and Q-E-AA and back healing on minion ... forcing her to give up on more farm and eventually killing her

The item 3074 provvide too much clean ability and it's a double edge sword on Aatrox
