Quick thoughts on aatrox tweaks
After sitting here for about 30 minutes crafting an awesome post i accidentally hit F12 and F11 instead of backspace in chrome which made my page go white... so here's the lazy version.
Check out aatrox's lack-luster performance at probuilds.net. Anyone who plays him typically agrees that he's very situational and not in a good place right now due to there being too many ways to outplay or counter him (e.g. build morello or executioner's calling). There was even a Q&A 5 months ago about an aatrox rework. Here are my ideas for quick updates for aatrox in the mean time, before any major updates to his kit.
Q: Increase knock up aoe to be between its current size and the damage only aoe size and get rid of the damage only area. Make his Q unstoppable or make him untargetable during the Q.
W: unchanged
E: Increase slow strength, make it decay to zero over the duration. This would make it easier to land Q after landing E.
R: Add AD scaling to it, reduce AP scaling.
Passive: Reduce bloodwell base size, add HP scaling. For 5 seconds after passive is used, blood stored in bloodwell is doubled.
I really just want to poke at the issue and see if we can get anything done to help aatrox's viability.
