"Oh yay, the tank meta!" = "Oh yay, the hypercarry adc meta!"
Why is this true? Because all assassins and all bursty mages have been just about invalidated with the way that tanks can just stack health and survive anything. How can you get to the carry and kill them when it's impossible to kill the guy standing in the way?
Because of the hyper-tanks that now can constantly peel you off the carry, those carries are going to be ever more potent, especially in the later game.
To show the other side, who are the champions most likely to bring down tanks? Usually it's going to be the adcs or a tank buster champion with some sort of %health in their kit or armor shred or something of the like.
I remember about a year ago that the forums were full to the brim with complaints about the adc meta, where people were talking about how much fun it was to be nothing but the servant to the adc in most of their games (read: not).
Most of my games I've been really bored lately because without playing adc, my only job is to keep them alive. I can't really do anything myself, just not feed, then feed my adc, then watch as the game lasts an hour just for my team to lose because the other team's adc did better than mine.
TL;DR I expect a ton of hate and downvotes for this, but so far, the tank meta is boring as hell and is headed in a really poor direction.
