Potential Kha'zix W buffs are a step in the wrong direction.
Kha'zix has a problem. No, that problem is not his early clear, or even the balance of his damage.
I'm totally fine with Kha'zix having a weak clear early. If it was too easy, he could snowball far too quickly with little counterplay. The thing is, his kit needs rethinking. It has nothing to do with balance in terms of number adjustment.
The biggest problem with him is that the simple fantasy of playing Kha'zix is gone. The feel of being an assassin that can fulfill that role is completely gone. Not only does his kit rely on the enemy to have terrible positioning, but you also no longer have a 1v1 advantage against quite literally any jungler, even in isolation. The idea of Kha'zix with isolation is that he can massively damage anyone that walks into it. It forces the enemy into having vision and make positioning choices, which is how isolation should function. If they walk into isolation, they should know that it's likely that unless they are ahead, they have a disadvantage. As it is, his cycle of abilities doesn't pose that much of a threat as a 100-0 assassin.
Ideas:
Increase his health per level by a tiny bit. It wouldn't do much, but it might make him actually sustainable through the jungle.
Evolved Q: No change.
Evolved W: Hitting a champion with void spikes gives them Paranoia, decreasing the isolation radius by 100-150 and causing minions to not count against isolation. (I actually really like this one, mostly because it doesn't force isolation, but it allows for windows of opportunity)
Evolved E: Adds a 20% slow to any champions hit for 1 second.
Evolved R: While invisible, Kha'zix gains Predator vision, showing all enemy champions within 1200 range.
Not all evolutions are created equal, but I think it's safe to say this might make you think twice about which ones you take and when.
