You are just another person who can't get past the idea that junglers aren't just there to serve you. We have our own game to win, and if the best way to win as our champ is to farm and carry (which is actually a safer and more guaranteed way to win when not on a 5 person team), then we are going to take advantage of it. Feral flare does need changes though, like giving back the health on hit gain, but in return adding a stack cap to keep one from afk farming indefinitely (which is a problem, because then they aren't using there farming to help carry, they are wasting it late on more jungle camps). Feral flare in concept is a good item, Riot just panicked and nerfed all the wrong things about it when they saw it was too strong "Too much sustain? remove on hit health gain!" oh wait, just build spirit stone, and you solve that problem. They refused to realize that the toxicity of the item came from how the play style it promoted was also being promoted to an unhealthy extreme, not the stats. Farming as a carry jungle is not selfish or rude to the other players (as junglers, WE dictate when and who we gank, not you, and whining only makes us not want to help). I have full rights to play as a carry jungle or a gank jungle or a vision utility jungle or whoever I want that is fun for ME to play and win with. To your question about champs like Warwick and Yi who benefit more than most, that is called item synergy. Just because Seraph's Embrace works especially well on Ryze doesn't mean it is inherently unhealthy for the game, and it is the same for feral flare junglers.
Sorry for getting a bit ranty through there.
TLDR: feral flare's farming style is not wrong just not properly limited. Feral needs a stack cap so people come out the jungle eventually before the game ends.
