Hi there,

Ever received a new champion and wanted to try them out? Normals or Coop vs Ai right?

Well, you could, but honestly, unless you are a really adaptive player or playing as a smurf, Better start with a Custom game,

(Pre-Practive mode)

This way you won't get flamed for being new (to the champ) and your mistakes won't be harshly judged.

I have been in games that had players who:

  1. never played the champ before or didn't know the basic mechanics of the champ
  2. Didn't know the abilities to level first or just level evenly per level
  3. didn't know what items to buy or wanted to experiment
  4. didn't know how to jungle or understand being a jungler

and it's not your fault, but where do you go if you need practice?

Start a custom game. You won;t get XP or IP for it, but it's a better for a fresh experience. Pretty easy to set up IMO:

  1. Start a custom game, with a friend or solo if you wish.
  2. Pick your AI opponent, a champion that's relevant to your match up.
  3. Pick your skill level for the opponent AI (beginner or Intermediate)
  4. Start the game.

Now you can practice in peace, take your time to read your abilities, practice jungle pathing, practice cs etc

When you are confident in playing the new champion, you can start a Normals or a Coop vs Ai game with less bad interactions. hopefully.

Thats all. Good luck and Have fun Summoners.

There's no need not to go into coop. You're just wasting the opportunity to get some extra IP going into a solo custom game.
