I've literally NEVER won a game with Bard on my team.
I hate to be one of "those" people, but almost to the point I tell someone not to pick him when they hover over him in Champ Select.

Sometimes you have to be one of "those" people if you want to win. Most of the time I let them play whatever with the knowledge that we will probably lose unless they're very good with said champ. If I am close to my promos though or am tryharding to climb.. here is my list of
Please God Don't

and last but certainly the one I will 99% dodge if he locks in

Better ban Bard.
I have!
I love good Bards.
If they're good, they're the absolute best support ever. Leaving Shrines everywhere, helping the jungler gank, ulting towers so you can dive...
If they're bad, then they're the worst thing to ever have on your team. Like journeying into the enemy team, or ulting you even though it won't help (And may as well seal your fate).
Bard and ori work amazingly well bard land ult on enemies you put ball in the middle and try to time it right i poped so many people one game
Maybe if more people played bard more people would know how to play WITH him.

Problem is people are still trying to build him either hard support or mage. He somehow actually works best as AD.
http://www.lolking.net/summoner/na/29790357#ranked-stats 5/3 so far with him (including 2 bard top games, 1/1 up there, and doesn't seem to work that well). But building AD makes him insane bot lane. Rush sheen into mobi boots into SS into tank item into trinity then full tank from there. He does really well being a bruiser support.
interesting I may have to try this
I REALLY like him with static shiv. Its basically like another meep, so if you auto someone with a meep and static shiv you basically get a huge aoe slow zap. It chunks squishy champs for about half their life. The best part is seeing a mage run at you thinking they're gonna get a free kill, get slapped in the face with a lightning meep, then turn around and run half dead.
Seriously, it sounds dumb but its actually great on him.
Anytime I see a good bard, I just recognize a great support player that could have carried way harder as just about any other support.
