Hey you took it like a sport, I just like to offer word meanings sometimes when people get stuff slightly wrong cause it amuses me... or perhaps because Im a Dodeca-dork :p
English dictionaries sometimes give up on people using words correctly, and simply change definitions base on popular use... My reaction to that is "Half the population is below average intelligence, if half the population is using words wrong should we change definitions cause they cant get words right!?"
Now Im not calling you dumb, I of course use words wrong too, I have to fight myself from saying "massive" in the wrong context. An over used word, and usually incorrectly. Typical use has someone saying "A massive (insert thing here)." Massive means its physical and most importantly has MASS! If youve every heard someone say "Massive debt" as in owes a lot of money... Ok... Weigh the debt, what is the debts "mass." Its wrong to use massive in this way, but so many people do, and its just one example.
When people use words wrong it massively decimates my hopes for humanity....
