When you win you win. When you lose you lose.

This is exactly what this season feels like to me.

Though I'm enjoying the cosmetic sales and everything that came with the snowdown event (including the new SR skin!) its being completely overshadowed by the game's lack of consistency and the fact that you either feel really good about a game or you feel incredibly bad.

You know who will win by the momentum of a match at the 10-15 minute mark. And I know you guys may be waiting for everyone to get used to the system so that you can begin to balance it, but it's just hard to play through losses.

Your breaking my heart Riot.

This is the reason league is no longer fun for me. League matches no longer feels like a battle to me. It's a brief flash of conflict followed by a massacre and piss poor drawn out empty "victory" or "defeat" at the end. Why do I still play this game?

Every game, its incredibly easy to read games. first blood is almost always a loss and a early double kill is always gg. You can tell by the 5 minute mark

riot is like the fcc right now

they will look at the comments, and even in the face of a majority feeling X is bad etc they will just say we dont rely on the comments from reddit twitter and the boards to change or revert X

but whats funny is where do they get the majorities vote from? If its polling players then how have i seen time and time again that they know what the community thinks, when all twitter / reddit / forums say otherwise and not me or anyone i know has gotten a poll by the times of most statements..

Even, if you poll the forums / reddit / twitter and get a majority of people behind something or against something riot will just pull the "A majority feel we should keep it the same...the ones you mentioned are minorities"

then where are these polls everyone is getting? how do you get to this conclusion before surveys are even issued?

and most importantly....who is this majority? a team of 5 people you hand select? because thats the only thing i can think of at this point if its not either a survey or going off your OWN boards or social media.

bottom line is they dont care what you think, they just want more money....and honestly if you think of riots intentions were after money, even if just hypothetically speaking, doesnt their moves make sense if that were the case? And vice versa, if they care about what the community thinks....wouldnt they listen to outcries, or at the very least have legit surveys AS stuff is released or hell even just better testing in general?

when both sides point in one direction, what do you do? if you see someone pissing on your legs and when you say wtf and they get very vague and say its raining....what approach do you take? because at this point its gone of for 3 straight seasons and it seems closing our eyes and hoping it stops isnt working...

at this point, im thinking they ate asparagus while our eyes were closed and its only gotten worse

....sadly nobody wants to say it but this is coming up on the end of the game and it sucks, but this is when the needle points to far toward the greed side rather than keeping everyone happy, doing the best they can for the best they can produce....

picture it like a guy loved games. So he makes a game company from the ground up, works with his son along the way...eventually dies and leaves it to his son....he dies and his son gets it and never cared for it besides the money....... we are at the point where we have the grandson.....sadly the last steps are being as greedy as you can till you either ruin the product or just drive people away.....

didnt mean to rant but thats sadly how things go, and seem to currently be

/Rant

They say it every season that it just gets worse, and someone always points out that it's not nearly as bad as insert example of bad balance.

Honestly screw that. The game has been around 8 years and for the 5+ that I've played, it HAS only gotten worse (and whatever defense you have that it's not, it certainly isn't better). Damage and power creep are off the charts, games are permanently lopsided based on who gets first tower, and comebacks are rarer than unicorns (let alone a game lasting more than 35-40 minutes).

I remember when Kassadin was considered permaban because he had good mobility. Now he's like a tame old man with a walker compared to 20% of the current roster. Losing feels like you did everything right and just got unlucky, winning feels like you didn't earn it. Getting a lead solo means nothing anymore, it's just a question of which team's damage snowballs faster, so if their carry gets more kills than you, your 4/0 lead against your laner means jack shit. Lane phase is virtually non-existent, and the game has devolved into a mine for highlight reels and fail compilations.

Then to screw it all even further riot had to go make their formerly healthy in game economy and ruin everything with RNG loot (gambling) all so they could entice new player with free stuff before hooking them on RP purchases and slashing the free income. Their business model is as shitty as EA now.

This game used to be something I was exited about. I'd beg to have a little more screen time to play an extra round or two, I talked about it with my friends, recommended it to anyone who asked... Now it's a point of shame I haven't kicked the habit yet because of how terrible things have gotten. League is a shell of what it was and a shadow of what it had the potential to become. Shame on Riot for trying to exploit players and in turn killing their own game.

/Rant over.

Exactly what happens. But people will say "oh its just preseason, chill" so we gotta just wait for 2 months until the game starts being fun again.

League has always felt great in wins and terrible in losses

WolfChases12/16/2017, 11:54:48 AM3 votes

Exactly. Once your team is behind it feels like there is nothing you can do to. It is still somehow possible to make it even in the late game if you sneak kill Baron or if you farmed up somehow and have good late game picks, but problem is, once you are behind early/mid game, there is almost no chance that you are gonna make it to the late game.

GarthBrooksXD12/16/2017, 11:57:27 AM3 votes

Even though I've been on the good side of most of my preseason games, I agree with this that games are not as fun when they are just soooo snowbally that it is basically over after like 10 minutes.

Honestly, one of the best patches this game ever had was the one right before this preseason hit. That shit was balanced as fuck and felt pretty fair and fun to play on.

Could it be that its because you are playing Jinx, who can snowball easily, and is hard to play from behind?
