Like 17.000ip for one page?
You might say its the same thing but... I spend a lot of ip on different runes I thought they would be usefull but they didn't. Like cdr,spell vamp, lifesteal, hybriyd pens etc etc.
God no. IMO, runes OR masteries need to go. Having both systems for this game is redundant, especially since they're both essentially becoming the same thing as time progresses. I vote for Runes to be scrapped and for the Mastery system to be fixed and refined.
Massively raising the price of rune pages feels like it'd just create all sorts of bad feelings, with people being like "I just got 6300 IP, and now you nearly triple the price?!"
The sense of value the runes and pages have would become completely lost, and if it's losing perceived value anyway you might as well delete the system.
17000 ip?! I can live without buying tier 3 runes thank you.

I rather buy all the Ultimate skins than spending my time wracking up 17000 IPs....
