If Ao Shin is primarily an Assassin, Marksman, or Support it will be a huge letdown

Because it would make so much sense for this big ass dragon to sneak to the back line/need tons of peel.

A bigger letdown: When you find out he's not coming.

he should be an ap tank. makes the most sense for a hugeass chinese dragon.

it would be interesting if he had a "snake" like mechanic where his body grows in length and he can use his body (or more specifically his tail) itself to block off enemy champions. (or like the bike trails in tron if you will).

that would be a really interesting playstyle that ultimately would make him support.

While I think Support is somewhat of a possibility(you know like healing rain or something like that) i guess he is most likely gonna be a mage fighter(or just a mage).

I mean him doing magic damage makes the most sense, but it wouldn't feel right if he was squishy,so a mage-fighter seems like the most logical thing to do with him.

A mage/tank would be great for this champion!

If Ao Shin is even made in this game i would be very disappointed. Because hes a copy of ao kuang in smite.

I hate to burst your bubble on this, but Ao Kuang's release date November 19, 2014 while Riot's announcement of Ao Shin was Sep 7, 2013.

Yes, Ao Shin wasn't released by Riot as of yet due to issues (I can't remember specifics, but I think it was graphical limitation because of the old LoL client), but Smite totally ripped off League if you want to look at the announcement date. Not the other way around.

Hate to burst your bubble but Ao Kuang was a completely released concept fully flushed out GOD in smite where as riots was only a black and white sketch. So in reality Smite had the idea 1st and the idea was completed and done and released as a fully playable god.

In reality, Smite took a champ design and released it looking exactly like Riot envisioned, fleshed out, and announced as Ao Shin. You'd lose any patent argument with what you just said.

Also, that sketch was just the only link that I felt like finding. They released an entire lore and design for him as well, including a huge teaser promo.

Wrong smite didn't steal the design from riot infact AO Kuang is a Chinese God which is a dragon. heres a link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ao_Guang Hes a spirit of the sea. Also here is a picture of him https://www.google.com/search?q=ao+kuang+chinese+god+pictures&espv=2&biw=1920&bih=969&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjQ-KON6OjKAhXCJR4KHUhnBgsQsAQIGw#imgrc=o0ZZNRoaHWv8AM%3A Now Smite took a god which is what smite does and made a playable character Riot would be copying it. Which is a huge reason why he has not be released yet and may never be released since its been 3 years since they teased him. I for one would be very disappointed if they released this copy cat of not only smite but of the Chinese gods.

So please tell me again how its not a copy cat.

I don't understand why people are so hyped for this champ in particular.

You know nothing about his kit, very little about his lore so why is he more exciting than any other new champ?
