it's only speculation as to if Azir is the Third Brother to Renekton or Nasus, but he obviously shares the same connection/theme as they do
I would have liked Azir to have a similar ultimate where he grows larger, gaining an increase to his maximum health, while having a sandstorm (or maybe summoning an extra soldier) deal damage while converting it to bonus AP (assuming that's what he scales with)

Arby0992 votesNow that's an interesting question that the Lore department is probably not going to clear up. With the retcons to tie Nasus and Renekton into Shurima, how does Azir (and Xerath for that matter?) tie into the lore?
Are they still beings from another plane who were worshiped by the Shuriman mages? Shurimans ascended to godhood? Is Azir from the same place as them or a mortal raised to something similar to be a God Emperor? Or just a mage with a throne? And was Xerath responsible for the downfall of Shurima? Azir has several lines referencing animosity between them.
