People who can't handle autofill: don't play ranked
If you can't play support or adc, you're clearly unprepared for ranked.

I assume the acronym "OTP" is unknown to you.
THE easiest way to climb in ranked is having a very narrow specialization.
For the 17465568th time, it's not that people can't play it, the issue is that they're out[role]d by the enemy [role].
I can jungle. Can I predict ganks and know which clear path each jungler takes? No. But EliseIsMyWaifu97 probably can, and will, know and then outperform me.
Why would someone want to learn how to play 5 roles at a subpar level when they could just play one or two very well? That is the difference between ranked before and after autofill. The initial system they gave us told us it was fine to master 2 roles and completely ignore the rest, then they flipped a 180
They do not remember the days before seasons 6.
if u only play support, u dont need to be able to play adc tho it helps to know
Playing all 5 roles helps with countering them as well but I don't see the point in mastering all 5 I'm way better mid and jungle but adc is harder since I can't adc without my duo and Skype since it requires more communication
Uh, I CAN support, but I will probably lose to someone who mains support. THAT is why autofill is dumb, you can't expect someone to perform at the same level as his opponent if he is on an off-role and the opponent isn't.

Alright, so we took a step forward with adding Draft, now we're taking a step back by only making it work most of the time.
Everyone shouldnt know how to play every roll, im very good at adc but basicly suck at everything else. Ofc i can play a tank in top but dont expect me to carry. I dont cry about autofill though, but im always asking for the trade for a higher win% chance :)

As for a "pocket support," just pick 
and build full tank (its honestly very fail safe, relatively easy to play mechanically, and will generally fit into any team comp).
If you aren't comfortable trading just survive laning. I mean... later on in team fights you can literally start a fight ANYTIME you want with Flash + R or Hook + R. And if you have a ton of armor items you provide front line presence regardless of gold.
If you are auto-filling Support just don't bother with fancy LCS support items (
). Just stick to simple and reliable and effective self-defence items like

and frontline (like a top laner would). Its far better most of the time.
Sorry, no one told me I had to play all 5 roles even before New Champion Select.
Oh really? I forget how pro teams switch out their roles constantly to keep themselves "fresh" in every position. No, they pick their best role and they practice it, we get the luxury of choosing our favored roles. Autofill is one of the most toxic aspects of the game riot has introduced. I would rather wait an extra 2-5mins if it means people got the role they wanted. Instead of trolling a game because they don't like what they got.
if you yourself are such a great player you should play the role instead then, to show who the real player is!
i personally haven't played adc since early season 5. strangely enough, every time I mention that, someone is kind enough to volunteer their spot to me. i'll even play support, but never adc.
i will probably continue to never play adc until the end of time.
Just play a fill or support game in normals before, and take the autofill protection into ranked.
I can play Top/Jung/Mid/Supp just fine, but I'm so bad at AD. I'll trade AD for Support if possible lol
The issue isn't that people cannot play support, its the fact that they do not want to.

Honestly this is the best way to do it, not because "people who are OTP shouldn't play ranked" but because if you're honestly so dissatisfied with the current system then the best thing to do is to stop playing ranked. If the numbers go down significantly then Riot will notice and be forced to implement a solution.
Its not that i hate getting autofilled supporting/jungling/adc, its that when other people do it they suck.
Just the past 4 games i had an autofilled support, and the best part is, is they were all playing thresh. All 4 of them trolled/fed because they got autofilled or were getting yelled at by their adc. I lost 4 games in a row because autofill makes people play it then they cry and feed.
