Anybody else play skarner? have you gotten an S+?

So as I was asking about I mentioned skarner and somebody told be he is good with stuff like instead of the riot default build with things like ,and WOW they were right! been spamming cause he is so tanky and can do a ton of damage/CC So I got mastery 4 with him just a few games ago and JUST got an s-. notice the -,even though I was 10/1/18! aren't grades from comparison on other players who used the champ? was there just some point where skarner was OP in a fashion where you could get 20 kills and no s

Think it factors other things into account, like jungle farm (yours and enemies), wards placed and destroyed, etc. Could be that.

I just tested in two games with Supp Maokai, virtually the same performance, only the first had a lower KDA but more wards placed/destroyed. First one got an S, second got A-.

k/d/a isnt that important as far as grading is concerned. The main inhibitors to getting S+ ranks as a jungler is CS so focus on that, i know you can run up and down lanes killing people but if you dont farm as you rotate the map then you arent going to get that high rank. Taxing/shoving the lane when you gank successfully will give you a big boost too but id advice against it if the kill went to you personally otherwise your gank may just put the laner behind.

Dont forget to always buy and place a control ward when you back, assuming it doesnt stop you from completing an item. Wards placed matter a lot too.

skarner is weak as shyt there isnt one thing greAT him. Yay he used to be good they they nerfed him via the rework, why they reworked him is beyond me he was perfect then they gave him a useless passive non reliant ganker so why play him. he is a crappy version of udyr

actually your W gives scaling movement speed (and the shield scales with HP making item 1401 even better) and your E slows,and marks for a stun,with the mark lasting quite a while you can ult them into your team and then proc the E stun for free kills

I play Skarner a bit, and I almost have rank 7. Cinderhulk is definitely better, and you still do a lot of damage while being mostly tank. Just remember to get a triforce.
