hes still an early game bruiser than spawns little gremlins and the ult is just his revamped old ult without the revive. the only thing really new is his wall thing but thats just a veigar e that morgana cant get out of. he just feels the same to play against tbh

He gets destroyed now by Gnar... You can't touch him, but the old Yorick could spam ghouls on him. Also your lategame is questionable - the old Yorick was at least ulting the ADC. Now you can try to protect the backline or backdoor and that's it.

You don't teamfight as Yorick, he's a splitpusher and that's all he's good at.

Old Yorick just spammed whatever spell was up untill he was oom. Current Yorick has a very obvious and visible window of power. He stacks up his Graves (Giving you windows to trade with him while his Q is on cooldown) Has a short window of power where he can summon his mistwalkers, which you can avoid by walking back ( his ghouls are slow and attack slow) or dodging his E.

Anyone who knows how to play a laningphase in this game knows new Yorick is not NEARLY as oppressive as old Yorick.

Also, you can avoid his W, Dash out of it, AA it twice (a lot of toplane champions will have either a dash or an AA reset) and walk away. Not to mention his entire kit falls apart if you dodge his telegraphed E.

And that is why it's an opinion.
