Doesn't have a single matchup where her winrate is below 50%.

Not. A. Single. One.

Not only that, but:

Out of 50 champions she faces at mid, only aganist 4 of them her winrate is below 51%, while aganist some it reaches whooping 60%. For reference champions with 40% winrate are considered trollpicks and/or completely unviable in any way or form.
Out of 50 champions going mid lane she is the 3rd safest, topped only by Anivia and Zilean. You know, the two with most iconic and potent anti-death abilities in the game.
Out of 50 champions she is takes the least amount of damage with a rather big margin compared to the second, Xerath, three times the average difference (1500, with the average of 500).
Average guy who bought Lux, scores 54% winrate right of the bat.

This is by no means Lux QQ thread, but holy shit, the realization hit me hard.

It's pretty stupid i agree, what is even more dumb is the community asking for her to get buffed which ultimately lead her to where she is now. smdh.

You did not find the real surprise. If you look on www.leagueofgraphs.com you will find that her win rate in the mid lane is higher at lower Elo.

I get most my kills with lux when people try to dive me. Or in other words...when the enemy is dumber than dirt.

I personally think the issues with Lux would be fixed if you just got rid of her control over E. Either make it instant explosion. Or mandatory 6 seconds, but he's allowed to zone too hard while having strong poke, and strong range. If you dive on her, you have to have a good gap-closer, and you need to be able to chunk her health out. Since there are few champs who can do that long term, she has great matchups.

The only issue with the data is that it's not giving us the whole picture. If we have a hard time believing it looks at the data points, I'd bet in game a lot of these mid-AD champs are feeding based on assumptions.

The one thing almost no LoL player wants to do is wait it out. But it's good to know her winrates because now I'm just going to grab a item 3096 , and wait for her to screw up or go OOM.

Lux also benefits from a few elements that don't exist in LoL anymore/yet. If there was a spell reflect or a mana burn, we might have a different situation on our hands. No one can turn a champs advantages against them.

Just checked out the Champ.gg page - really shocked she does that well against Yas/Zed. I would have guessed they ate her for lunch.
