Skarner should be reworked into an hybrid bruiser

We already have Akali Jax Mordekaiser as mainly hybrid scaling champs, but each of them are either more assassin or mage-like in gameplay. Even if hybrids are fairly rare in the game, making builds on them and playing them overrall is a lot of fun. So, if we haveSkarner only so he can be a "fill" kind of champ with no real identity, you might aswell make something funny out of him. He already has the diver aspect in gameplay along with hybrid scalings/outputs, even if they are rarely used at all in their full potential. So how about focusing his gameplay around something more bruiser-like with that damage? A more divey-killey kind of gameplay so he can dishes out a good amount of damage like a normal bruiser-diver should be, instead of being this CC god turret-defender thingy that noboddy wants.

TL;DR: Skarner, light rework, more damage, more scaling, more overrall power, less tanky-support type, more HYBRID in everything in his kit... that's what I'd like

Skarner has always been an AD focused champion; in the old days, we'd build Spirit of the Elder Lizard and Trinity Force. He doesn't need to be hybrid.

Also, he's not a Diver, he's always been best described as a Juggernaut. Juggernaut is the perfect class for him, they just missed the mark, like they did with Mordekaiser.

Skarner is not a juggernaut. He has never been a juggernaut. Skarner has always been a fighter/duelist. The modern day term is skirmisher.

Everything in his original concept confirms this: he was supposed to be a hunter; finding you alone and dragging you away to a gruesome death. Skarner excels in 1v1 fighting, has a very poor early game, and scales insanely well with items (insanely compared to just levels ). Look me up on YouTube for some Skarner top games.

When Riot made Skarner a juggernaut, they not only had to "MAKE" HIM a juggernaut, but they failed to do so.

They had to lower his base speed, leave the ramp up speed buff but remove his q speed buff. Got rid of his Q attack speed buff.

That made him feel more like a juggernaut, but then they gave him the passive, and made all his previous dueling power a comfortable buff that was either way too strong (release) or completely worthless (current). They then continued to lower his damage... and threw everything else on his E. Now E is overloaded, and is his best max first skill.

Skarner used to be a high speed, high sustained damage champion. Now he's just confused.

Skarner punishes bad positioning, but he is not a diver. He has no way to bypass a frontline in a teamfight. He is a skirmisher, duelist, who's best function in team fights is to either peel for the ad carry with his great single target cc, or to punish bad positioning.

Juggernaut has always been the most accurate description. Skirmishers are Slayers, not Fighters; best described as squishy champions like Fiora, Yasuo, Ekko, and Master Yi.

I agree with you on all points; I've played Skarner forever, and know exactly how he plays and what he is. He's always been fast, high speed, yes. But he's not the only high speed Juggernaut. Udyr Volibear Olaf

More than one Juggernaut focused on running down enemies and ripping them apart with DPS, and Skarner has always been one of him.

Also, Q is still his best max. E used to be, but not anymore.

I'm not saying Skarner is perfect, but there is good direction in his current kit that can be learned from.
