so seeing that on reign of gaming the PBE version of morde is pretty much back to live version of morde

i think riot actually listened to what the players were saying?

was this luck? or is this the dawn of a new era?

Nothing but buffs, he is going to get QQed about and nerfed just like what happened in season 1.

Gonna be honestly, I really doubt it. Mostly because Morde has MUCH bigger problems than how much damage he deals.

I'd expect Malzahar to get nerfed long before Morde does (notably because he destroys assassins just as hard, if not harder than Morde)

I'd surmise his changes got reverted, because Riot realized the route they were going with him just flat out won't work (all the tankiness and damage in the game won't help you if you can never reach your enemy), Morde needs some kind of CC or reliable movement if he's ever going to go down that fighter route.

Even just a small slow on his Q or maybe a mobility boost from using his W on himself would be enough to bring Morde into viable play again. IMO.

You might be right, but I have little faith in the lower bracket of this game that got him nerfed in the first place. "Oh, he is OP because he shields all day and never dies." I hope you are right though.

Not seeing anything about those, likely going to change with the health cost reductions.

Yes and no. His shield scaling off his HP is gone, but many of his QoL buffs remain (the extended range on his Q, the lower health costs, changes to his Ghost's scaling). He still got his HP regen nerfed pretty hard though, from roughly 1.6 to 0.6.
