I really preferred it when Riot left unhealthy champions in the dumpster, where they belong

Riot used to leave champions with unhealthy kits purposefully weak, and still does (to some extent), but right now it's really getting on my nerves how these champions are getting away with above 51% winrates for several patches.

I'm talking about these champions: Malzahar @ 54.88% Akali @ 52.39% Chogath @ 53.93% (we all know about this one and he's only been like that for 2 patches, I'm only mentioning him because he doesn't have any nerfs on PBE) Kayle @ 52.84% (This might be because of the master yi - kayle cheese) Tryndamere @ 52.24% and finally Pantheon @ 53.27%

Do you think it'd be wiser to keep them at a weak spot until they get reworked? I mean, I sympathize with the mains who don't want to see their champions in the gutter, but unhealthy is unhealthy Discuss (civilly please)

It actually can be healthy for a champion to have a win rate higher than 50% dependent on their play rate. Riot expects people who main a champion to have a greater than 50% win rate with them. Its the inexperienced people playing the champion that bring most win rates down to 50%. However, if the champion isnt very popular then a larger percentage of the people playing the champion are mains which will artificially increase the overall win rate greater than 50%. A lot more things go into "balance than just win rates. That said, you being intentionally vague about the champions in question doesn't really help the discussion.
