@Riot if you're nerfing Dark Harvest please nerf Electrocute too

Dark Harvest has been nerfed hard on the PBE. I understand but I am also disappointed because it has great gameplay.

Now everyone's going to use braindead Electrocute. It's going to be really boring. Dark Harvest might still be strong enough to use, but Electrocute will just be way more common because most people are dumb and lazy.

Riot can you just nerf Electrocute as well so the more interesting runes see more play? I'd rather see tons of Predator or Dark Harvest.

Ugh Electrocute is so boring.

Oh is it the beginning of the season again where we use TLD for the next 5 months until riot nerfed it.

I think Dark Harvest (even after the nerf) and Predator are actually better choices for most situations but I think most people will choose Electrocute either because they are lazy or bad. The only reason Dark Harvest was gaining popularity was because of how much it blew Electrocute out of the water, even the most simpleminded players recognized how strong it was.

Electrocute is just easy and brainless to use. Players who lack awareness will tend to miss more DH souls either by literally not seeing them drop, or not timing their back properly and missing more cannon minions and shit like that. All the small optimizations matter with DH. With Electrocute you just do your thing and you get the same result no matter what. Like it's not hard or different than your normal gameplay to land 3 things. Most champions' combos include 3 separate abilities.

I don't look forward to Electrocute being popular. The new runes are supposed to make the game more interesting, but Electrocute does not do that.

and being alittle bit easier is all it needs. see TLD ADCS Ranged champions in general. CC tanks even though no one wants to play them. out of that list only cc tanks even get nerfs from riot when the comminity thinks they are a little bit strong or even in an okay state.

Dark Harvest is great for cleaning up fights, Electrocute isn't. Electrocuted lets you burst 1 enemy reliably, then it is on cooldown. Dark Harvest lets you burst a target, if you manage to kill it it resets and you can burst another one and so on.

Dark Harvest still has it's appeal compared to Electrocute.

Didnt it have like a 50s cd + the fact it has to be 3 UNIQUE attacks so its like a much worse tld?

I dont see how that would need a nerf.

It deals a lot more damage than Thunderlord's. The 3 unique requirement is not an issue for most burst champs since they combo several abilities together.

I mean, it's not actually that amazing but I think it would be really lame if it was competitive with Predator and Dark Harvest. It's lame and boring. I hope they replace it with something totally different tbh.

It has 40 more base damage and a worse ad/ap ratio...

Its a major nerf to current tld, you're vastly overestimating it, its barely going ot be used over meteor.

Thunderlord's: 10 - 180 + (30% bonus AD) + (10% AP)

Electrocute: 50 - 220 (+50% bonus AD) (+30% AP)
