If Panth's W was a skill shot...

It would be pretty cool. Pantheon

REASONING:

a) Have the same effect as it currently does, you W a minion/champ, you get a shield.

b) Would remove the idea of Panth being a point-and-click champ

c)Would add more interesting gameplay/level of mastery while giving Panth a new Escape!

you'd be able to jump anywhere, to a mobility creep need it be, your range is unchanged, basically the same W but you can now use it as a viable escape. Think of it that way.

Well, for those that may need more mobility while having fair tradeoffs, it may be a good thing. Lee, the poster child, has mobility but if you look at the patch notes, he's VERY squishy and has high costs to compensate

For those who are immobile, they have enough power to compensate. Look at Cass, or Syndra, and tell me those two aren't the scariest things on earth.

Im saying from the perspective it will potentially give panth a solid escape, and would add some skill to him in using his W to land a stun. Additionally, landing his W right would allow you to stun more than one enemy. Pantheon

Think about it that way...

I honestly don't think they're more powerful, they just have different tradeoffs, that all, thats the point Riot has been making for champ diversity. And I do agree for the most part, but I'm just seeing if we could add some depth to Panth's kit, initially a skill shot W, but maybe like a combo between Me and Fluffy's extended context below.

Maybe Panth could keep his point and click W, but be able to Wall Hop to your opponent as well... be creative! :)

I dig it. Could stun more than one and have an escape while also making it flashable or he could miss. Sounds legit.

Indeed. I may keep up the posting this until Riot makes note of this. It would be an awesome actual change! XD

Sounds kind of fun if it's balanced correctly. Lots of the old champs have old point-click mechanics that are not really fun to play with in the current meta and champion designs.

Yeah, and it would allow him to have a viable escape! Would add more interesting gameplay to say the least.

Thematically speaking, I think it would be a great addition to his kit. However, giving him a mobility escape like that does not fit his theme as an all in, balls to the walls champion. Why not make it interact with terrain? It adds an extra layer of complexity to a champion who could really use it.

Never thought about that. Were you thinking like if he uses it on terrain, he can bounce off it and " hop" towards an enemy?

I kinda imagine it (and I COULD be wrong) like when you flash W as Panth to get in range of an enemy while "double hopping". Either way, I will rewrite this post a week from now with that consideration, cuz it IS a good idea Fluffy! :)

I was thinking more like Poppy's E. If the enemy and him both collide with terrain during the dash, a special effect will occur. It provides another balance lever and adds an extra depth of complexity to an already simple champion. I suggested a similar idea for Garen's Q, to be honest.

Upon first reading it, I visualized Panth in a highly derogatory manner with an enemy near a wall jumping on top to proc the W...LOL. But I get where you're going with it. I'm just spit balling as I know Panth can have some more depth in his kit, and its in his W. :p

P.S. Brazzer Panth Confirmed? XD

Too OP? WHAT DO YOU MEAN TOO OP?

THAT'S A NERF!

For the reliability of point and click removed, you get a very small aoe stun, stuns wherever he lands and gets the proc, but the main idea here is, NOW Panth would have an escape for use in lane or late game team fights.

I just feel like Pantheon's main weakness is being highly vulnerable to ganks despite his colossal early game. That is why I doubt giving him an escape is good idea. Plus: mobility creep. Some champions need to be able to intentionally stop Yasuo or Kalista in their tracks, and those are getting reduced nearly every patch (point and click Taric will very likely meet his brother AP Sion in the afterlife once he gets a rework). Well, Haaaaaalp already explained this part.
