would just like to remind people to please think twice before asking for buffs on a champ

especially the simple ones.

Blitzcrank a q range buff by 100 (technically 50 as of now due to lollipopping that was hotfixed out). becomes most broken support in the game

Karma bigger slow on q, longer shield duration and ms buff becomes grossest toplaner in the game

Ashe gets increased slow buff, becomes best ADC

the reason more intensive champions get stronger power budgets is because there is more room to actually balance them out. for simpler ones it becomes really hard to actually give them a decent buff without being flat out busted due to such binary playstyles, as theres no way to actually fight someone mechanically simple once their one kind of trade opportunity arises.

now this doesn't mean mechanically intense ones cant be busted, but the reason they are allowed a bit more power is because you have to strike a balance between how simple a champ is and their actual skill ceiling. if its too simple, it becomes impossible to not break them as they will be either oppressive or non existent, but too complicated, and they will end up covering their own weaknesses, while also still closing the gap of when they are actually vulnerable.

And to add on to all that, rather than just adding onto the powercreep by asking for buffs, instead ask for nerfs to the most powerful champs

Couple things.

  1. Riot rarely, if ever, pays heed to anything posted on their own forums.

  2. Your logic makes no sense. 'Buffing simple champions breaks the game, but buffing complex ones does not because complex champions are easier to balance'. Seriously, what the fuck?

You do realise that it was klepto and spelltheif which made karma top broken (and tank items interaction with her)? And not just karma but viktor did the exact same thing.

people shouldnt ask for buffs, but for nerfs of the worst offenders.

I'm fairly certain that many player requests are well-thought out... the problem is that they are also pre-dominantly biased. So they often do not present a fair and balanced view of the game.

Who in their right mind was asking for Blitzcrank buffs?

I cannot recall anyone asking for that.

It's like Riot looked at bot lane and was like, "How can we make the most volatile lane in the game even more chaotic? OH I know! A Blitzcrank buff!" That was easily one of the most ridiculous choices they made in season 9, and that's quite an accomplishment even if we just consider bot lane.

Okay, but can Soroka’s Q slow by 50%? It’s only fair since Zilean gets a 99% slow.

Blitz was a trollpick, his only value is landing hooks. He still is one, but can land hooks from bigger range so its slightly harder for enemies to just stay out of range and completely negate him. He needs a rework, not a buff/nerf Karma should have her W remade into a skillshot or its root should be removed, and her self-shield shouldn't give ms. Then she will have enough room for buffs that will not make her a broken solo laner. Ashe is ok, she never really was a strongest adc.
