when she gets into my games i'm actually baffled/surprised at some of the shit she can do. Like, is she even fun to play against yet? hasn't it been like, 2 months since shes been permabanned in ranked?

There are 2 massive problems that curently make her probably the most broken champion in the game :

early game her E+ulti provides her with 100% kills whether she is jungle or top, there is 0 counterplay to getting 2v1-ed for 5 seconds without even being able to blow your summs
late game she builds 2 damage items and then goes full tank which is ok, she has some nice damage, but why oh god why did they have to give her true damage, her true damage on Q bursts for such a retarded amount of HP that even the tankiest of tanks will die as if she was a Vayne, she didnt need the true damage, her current damage is pretty good, but that tanky of a champ dealing those amounts of true damage is pretty retarded; edit - oh and I forgot, Q does damage to turrets, there is a reason this stupid shit got removed from every other champ with the same kind of ability...

To be fair her whole kit is just way too overload. Truedamage, high mobility, a slow, a shield based on the stat the enemy builds and a combination of a Janna and Jarvan ult.

So, after playing a decent amount of her I can say the issue isn't her so much as it is that people don't know how to fight her. Like you said yourself you're "baffled" at some of the things she can do. That doesn't mean she's broken or needs nerfs for that reason. Now that doesn't mean she's 100% balanced but what I'm saying is that players haven't been able to learn to fight her simply because they haven't had enough experience against her.

A few things that I've learn about her, while playing as her, are these: One, fight back, Camille has an issue where players think they have to run from her, but most of the time if they challenge her within the ult they can end up over powering her (I've done this plenty of times as Fiora), basically she has a higher burst than dps. Two, with the same logic as before longer trades make her struggle, most of the time Camille will E in then both Q's and then back up with W. If you can stick to her after the W her passive is now down and she's on all cooldowns. And 3 including the logic from the last two parts, Tanks with shields can push her down in lane, and since CotC is a thing almost all tanks can have a shield. Nautilus is a great example of this, two big shields (including CotC) he can tank through her quick trade and then stick to her after she is trying to leave, this pretty much leaves her in a position to lose lane or go even, either way its better than her being fed.

no body does fight her so they dont notice the long time it takes for her hook to reach the wall the only notice the short time her dash away from the wall takes. her shield never needed to be nerfed. same with CoC shield never needed to be nerfed people were just trying to burst through a shield on 30 second cooldown (more now) they want a shield they dont have to respect.

yep they nerfed his sheild and his damage multiple times most of the time was before he was even meta. He doesnt do much damage and far less than he used too but back then defenses were stronger and people didnt value cc as much because assassins pretty much 2-4 shot most things no matter how much defense they had

camilles only problem that i see is that her q does too much true damage maybe if it stopped at 30% true damage armor could stop the rest a bit. This doesnt help squishy champions unless they start building a bit of armor though.
