If one team has an afk and half as many kills as the enemy for instance, you should be able too leave but you will get leaverbuster so you have too rmove your champ every few mins.

To be honnest there should not even be a surrender feature, i've won enough 4v5 to have the will to try.

I remember I won a 3v5 once lol, we had a Teemo, Nidalee and something else and just managed to chunk enemy team down to nothing with spears and shrooms before they could engage properly

Meh, I generally refuse to surrender during ranked. I'll take a very small chance of winning over a 100% chance of losing.

Norms on the other hand? Just depends on a lot of factors. Did I get the lane I wanted? Did I get the champ I want to practice? Do I really want to start another game in early game over and over again?

I played with someone who did that and it cost me a rank. It's players like you that are the disgusting wart of the league of legends community. If I was given the bird for daring to contest my demotion, I should be allowed to give YOU the bird for being one of those people. So here you go. 🖕

The biggest wart on the community is the players that vote no too 4v5s that are being lost, worse than the guy who afk'd in the first place.
