League of Carries

This is kinda getting on my nerves. League seems more balanced now than ever before. Almost every champion feels Overpowered, which seemed kind of intended, but now I feel like games are won from players carrying. I have yet to play a game this week without the game being won by almost literally ONE champion carrying, in any role. I feel as if the game takes a huge turn after the first death and that lane 90% of the time snowballs out of control with no way to stop it. The towers hardly protect anyone after level 4 anymore and there is no safety to stop the snowballing.

I can't wait for the first comment: "Learn to carry then"

It's so 50/50 that it's usually a couple of pretty decent players who square off and the first one who gets a kill carries so hard off it you can't even hardly save other player. Suddenly you're short a player when in need, the jungle probably offers him some camps to try to keep up, and then your jungle is short CS. and could start falling behind. It's such a one sided cycle I feel like there is no way around it.

but now I feel like games are won from players carrying.

Games have always felt like they're won from players carrying.

That has a lot more to do with subjectivity and objectivity though. Kills and killing streaks are really obvious feedback from doing well, where a lot of the solid plays you can do with supportive/non-kill rolls is more nuanced and lacks a lot of visceral impact.

That doesn't mean supportive rolls have less of an impact.
