I think Sivir could use a little lovetap

Sure Sivir isn't the worst ADC at the moment. She still has a meh winrate, and is still Sivir so she's still really useful.

But overall she's come out of the preseason a little...lackluster. None of the keystones really work with her. Most people have noticed her feeling kinda weakish and her playrate has dropped by quite a bit.

My proposal is simple: Allow her W bounces to proc spell effects.

This would allow Sivir to proc deathfire touch with her W, proc thunderlords with her W, stack fervor with her W. It would also allow her W to proc rylais, proc spell vamp, proc liandrys, and other similar effects. But nobody plays AP sivir, so we don't care about that. Allowing Sivir to proc spell effects on her W would make keystones sync with her, and she would be a good ADC once more.

Yeah, this season's been a bit rough on Sivir. We're going to be testing some changes to her shortly and are planning on helping out subsequent W bounces. Current thinking is towards allowing W bounces to crit, since that goes well with the AD itemization that's otherwise appealing to Sivir. On hit effects would certainly be cool, but adds a lot of power in some cases and would require Sivir be balanced around the most optimal cases.

As far as Sivir's strategic niche goes the ult's always been a big part of that. Strong wave clear and reasonable team fight AOE are also intended strengths though, so this change supports that well. She's meant to be weak as a duelest too, so W bounce buffs as you've identified are potentially a really good fit.

The issue is her ult is so retardedly good that riot wants that to be the reason you play. If they up her damage or anything, then she will have that godlike ult and all that damage and outclass other adcs.

Sivir is currently rather "Meh" for a simple reason:

In the preseason, her base AS was nerfed harshly, from 0.66 to 0.625.

That nerf hit her hard, for the simple reason that the majority of her damage relies on auto-attacks (only Q is auto-independent). Revert it (at least partially), and it'll go a long way towards improving her performance.

i think sivir is the worst adc right now. worse than kog and ashe. her mana costs are abysmmal. and she doesn't have as much of a single target focus or steroid like other adcs.

I really enjoy sivr atm, and don't find her weak. I might be the only one, but she's my go-to adc, and I haven't had any issues with her. Her waveclear is unparalleled, and to me she feels pretty strong at all stages of the game.

The changes to AD itemization hurt Siv since she scaled best of raw AD and armor pen.

Allowing her bounces and Q to Crit (at some reduced value no doubt) would let her function in this new world of 'Go crit or go home' ADCs.

Sivir definitely needs some love, and while this would be a welcome change, I'm not sure it would really solve her problems. She's a squishy, short ranged adc with no instant repositioning. Her abilities fix those problems, but she has no reliable way to regenerate mana, especially since essence reaver only works when you're critting stuff. Manamune fixes this, but takes so long to get built up and neuters her early and mid game to stack a tear.

She has too many weaknesses for her few strengths. I'd honestly prefer just having more ability to use what she already has.

i just would like her W bounces to proc thunderlord,that would give her a good thing to poke his lane oponent with W and buff her push+poke playstyle. Other abilities that arent directed to a target but hits them proc thunderlord Bard passive aoe cone does, MF 2nd Q does,Vi E does. Why sivir W shouldnt?

Honestly, the issue with that is you would be taking even more free damage just for being against a sivir in lane, with little you can do about it. Think about it this way, she is pretty much ensured the 3 hits time around with her W, so that means she will be chunking you with a Thunderlord proc each and every wave. Most champs have to actually fight for them now, but Sivir would just be getting them by accident by pushing.
