Nocturnes rework and what i think it should be

Passive- The same.

Q- The same.

W-retains its current AS steroid. retains its current spell shield. In addition, Nocturne becomes a mobile smoke grenade for 6seconds. Enemies outside of the smoke cant see in it, enemies inside of it, cant see out.

E-Total rework. Nocturne can blink to a targeted area within his Duskbringer trails(Unlimited range). Landing directly on an enemy slows their movespeed by 50% for 2seconds. (2charges) Deals X damage, scales off AD.

R-Same Darkness/vision loss effect. Deals zero damage unless the target has no allied champions within a pretty large radius. If the target is severely isolated, deals its current in game damage. -Instead of dashing to a target, Nocturne rips himself from within the target(similar to Kayn) -deals no damage -Fears target for 1seconds/1.25 seconds/1.50seconds -automatically activates his W, without putting it on Cd. Rank ups reduce CD and increase range.

thoughts?

i especially like my E idea. He does need mobility, i really think conditional mobility is the right way to go with it.

Passive scaling AP still?

W- What is the desired effect here? Is it meant to cause like a mini 1v1 thing like Morde R?

E - I like the idea but it's more dashes in the game, even if it's very limited, as in you have to use Q in order to use E which might be too limiting. Can you still use it without Q?

R - Is this a blink/have zero travel time?

Its pointless, but sure why not.

W-purpose here is yeah, like a crappy Morde ult 1v1. But more importantly to block the vision of the target Nocturne is on.(he doesnt know where enemies or allies are). Also to block the vision of outside enemies, so that they are unsure of if they should help whoever is inside of the smoke or not. Also, if you cant see them, its harder to point/click heal them.

E-No, cannot be used without Q.

R-yes, zero travel time.(Purpose for this is so that his travel time doesnt drag him into stray CC, or allow his target to dash his ult, or outrun it via a certain movespeed threshold.)

This sounds like a nice nieche idea, only worrying thing is that he would be able to slow down a target by 50% for 4seconds. The R change, might have a problem of having no-reaction time, and too much surprising on it, unless it had a cast time before you blink out, letting the target know they're about to be feared/damaged. Also, they could just make him untargetable during R, so that you'd be unable to CC him while he's flying towards the target.

With the R not doing damage to non-isolated targets though, he would be really bad at ganking botlane, while he'd be able to destroy midlane/toplane, and that ultimate would need to be on a reaallly hefty CD as it would pretty much be a guaranteed kill every time it's up during the laning phase...

Tl;dr: A really nice concept, but the R sounds insanely broken during the laning phase.

the slow might need to be changed to 1 second now that I think about the numbers lol

And yeah I agree that the ult would be oppressive during lane phase, atleast to top laners and mid laners.

Hmm.. Maybe scrap that R idea, and have it be... Same Darkness vision loss effect. All enemies within X/X/Xper level, radius trigger duskbringer trails. Allowing Nocturne to E just about anywhere for this period of time. While "Darkness" is in effect, Nocturnes E deals 75%/125%/175% bonus damage, and Fears all targets hit for 1second rather than slowing them. Once the "Darkness" effect passes, his E goes back to being a slow.

Now that its a skillshot to land that Fear, enemies could still potentially counterplay it with flash/dashes/ or just a general juke.
