Why do people take Manaflow Band on Zoe?

After you get Lost Chapter, you never run out of mana. Once you have Nomicon, you're set for life. I don't understand why you would take Manaflow Band over something like Nullifying Orb which soaks up around 2000 damage per game? Can someone explain this to me?

it helps a lot with early game sustain before getting nomicon. It just let you spam ability a little more.

In my experience, if you pick up Lost Chapter first, you should be able to survive lane phase without going OOM.

You don't start with 900g though.

But you get it very quickly after Doran's. To the point where Manaflow isn't more useful than the alternative I'm suggesting.

Getting it quickly doesn't matter when you can't buy it at the start of the game. Manaflow band just give you that extra sustain for some mana champ that will help you spam ability meaning you can harass/farm more in lane.

But you shouldn't be farming with your Q early-game. The only time you should be using it at level 1 is to harass your opponent if you're going for a level 2 cheese kill, otherwise it's just not strong enough to warrant usage before you're level 3.

We would but you just don't seem to understand anything.

Clearly not, because I haven't had a single problem with mana in every Zoe game I've played thus far, since after you get Lost Chapter and then Nomicon later, mana is a nonfactor whereas Nullifying Orb continues to give you a free hexdrinker that soaks up 2000 or more magic damage on average, which does vastly more for you as a low-mobility squishy mage like Zoe. I've used Manaflow Band. It just seems like a redundant waste to me.

So if you could get on your main and explain it to me, maybe that would give you a tad more credit to your insults.
