You don't follow up, I stop ganking since I can't sit in the brush for 3 minutes waiting to 1v1 the enemy laner who has more gold.
A gank does not constitute the jungler 1v1ing the laner. It constitutes a 2v1. You don't want to 2v1? Great, I respect that. Stop ping spamming and saying "jungler useless" then.

Or maybe I think the laner can dive me 1v1 and kill me and I need you to prevent that.

I mean, you just seem to have a really narrow idea of why you would go to a lane.
"Jungler useless" is obviously out of line. But there's usually a reason they're asking for help and I doubt it's because they expect you to kill the laner 1v1.
BluePolarizer1 votesa simple "they gonna dive" will suffice. I can't read minds. I might think the jungler is elsewhere. I don't know. Say something useful. Don't ping for help, not help when you're just last hitting and not even at turret, and then say jungler useless. It is common sense.
