A humble request to Riot

Give Kog'Maw a niche. Give him something he's good at, something that kog mains can be happy about when they play their champ. As it is right now, he attempts to fill the niche of too many other adc's, and we're left with this odd (but lovable) puppy that doesn't feel good to take into games.

People say he's "the" late game hyper carry- to those people I present to you who carries harder, self peels, and deals more damage, not to mention that she hits her power spikes earlier than he does.

People say he's a long ranged carry- and to those people I give you with a base range of 650, who gets to a base range of 669, and whose ult gives him an amazing range of 850 and piercing attacks (making him a better long ranged hyper carry than kog ever will be).

People say he has mixed damage so he's hard to itemize against- to those people I give you who permanently does 50% ad and ap without him having to build that way.

I understand that it is difficult for everyone to have a niche without them overlapping, but at this point Kog's identity is...well...questionable. What is is that he is supposed to do well? What is he supposed to excel at? Why should I pick him (barring when he is grossly overtuned) over any of the other adc's?

For the people who are going to say "build a team around him and he'll win you the game", yes, you are correct. So will literally every other marksman in the game. That is literally their job. He doesn't do it any better than most of them, and worse than a lot of them.
