Losing a promotional series can feel way too punishing sometimes

I won like 4 games in a row to get to my promo series from g3 to g2. I lost two games in a row unfortunately and was shocked to see where my LP was at now. It put me at g3 66 LP. I've never seen my LP drop that much after losing a promo series. I've seen it get dropped down to 75 but that was the absolute lowest. And honestly, it feels really disheartening. I worked pretty damn hard to get to that series just to drop almost 40 LP after the loss? I dunno, maybe I'm just qq but it feels so punishing, especially since I tried so damn hard to carry the second game we lost (it was actually so damn close).
