The Riven ult buffs backfired A LOT

The increase of damage on Riven's ult made it through the PBE, even though the community had a VERY strong distaste about it, now that you changed it so basic attacks could be canceled VERY FEW frames earlier, Riven Fast combo is (arguably) harder to pull off, but is a decent amount faster. This gives her more burst, which is something the ult changes already did. Now she can easily 100-0 squishies without even the use of her ult at 20 minutes, and with black clear, which (imo) is core, can easily get all stacks and 100-0 tanks at a little slower speed. Too much burst!!! And for all of you who will say that I am just salty, Riven is my second most played champion. ~~dirty riven main~~

The fast combo being made a lot easier was an unintended result of the autoattack system change, and Riot themselves said they were looking into it.

I would say just rework her into a more sustainable kit, but when I think of the Riven mains who have poured so much blood and sweat and tears into mastering their champion, the suggestion dies in my throat

Yeah. I honestly think she's in an okay spot, even with the ult buffs (although I'm just bad at the game and don't like it personally). Once Riot fixes the unintended byproduct of said autoattack changes (which has affected multiple other champions as well, some in good ways, some in bad), I feel like it'll all be okay.

CC + high burst + mobility = big problem. You can't punish her - she makes a mistake, well, good luck catching her. Being manaless and having AD scaling shield are just the tip of the iceberg.

The real solution here is just to completely remove attack resets from the game, tweak champions that rely on it, and stop needing to balance around what is basically a bug exploit.

I judge every Katarina I see. I just clicked with her kit when I first started playing and it's really weird seeing that people can be so bad at her.

Yo I thought the RIven 100-0 combo was Third Q - auto- W rav (not too sure how this works, haven't really figured it out myself, I settle for just rav'ing while they're stunned instead)- auto R?

Eh, I guess that's the AoE 100-0 combo.

Thing is, from my experience Riven can't actually 100-0 without Rav. Otherwise, her sustained damage is amazing but I always felt that against a FIzz or someone you can't CC reliably that I was at a disadvantage.
