Geno's Break the meta Pick: Sated Kalista botlane.
Hi guys.
Ever get tired of the boring old Standard meta? Well, the meta is created by top players such as those in the Lcs. You can't say their influence doesn't affect the meta. If it's not them then It's Riot and their Twisted philosophy of "Balance."
Well I'm one of those guys who break the set meta pretty often. Why because:

It can be really fun- - Who wouldn't want to be a
Blitzcrank carry one of those games? Ap blitzcrank is pretty fun and hilarious to play as. The current meta suggest you build the boring support items and tank. -
It's something new- - Bringing a different approach to a lane is entirely unexpected and can leave ur opponent questioning how to deal with you.(Of course because it hasn't been seen over a dozen times on YouTube)

Well I see everyone on the boards suggesting the same thing. It's about time for someone to bring something different to the table. I am hoping to do this periodically to encourage people to tried out new things or something they wanted. I am a Kalista main myself.(No hate pls) I often wondered how it would be for a marksman to have devouver. the item itself makes a phantom clone appear when you attack- giving the the ability to apply on hit effects twice. So I wonder how it would fair with someone who builds 
stattik shiv. Of course you can just build it on anyone. But Marksmen have high damage output.
I gave Kalista Skirmishers sabre with the devourer enchantment. But guys, there is a good way to break the meta and there are horrible ways. I did not start stacking devourer immediately. When ur adc, ur support is thought to help you get kills. I mean bot lane is always the lane that gets fed fast(Well in most games) So I farmed until i was able to get some boots and a B.F. sword. It's better for you to get damage before stacking. Because having enough to actually get kills and stack devourer makes it easier. I bought the enchantment shortly after getting those Two items. Had a rough early, but mid-late game, after jg a bit of unattended critters in the jg, surely enough it proved positive results.
I was 1/7 and went from there to 8/7. Of course not by myself but the item did help me deliver pure hell to the enemy team. Seeing how Kalista's passive scales with attack speed anyway, it surely benefited. You can also use your smite ability to you do bonus true damage to a target.
All and all, it worked for me. A strategy out of the meta that still worked. It's not as Extreme as have Viegar adc, but it's not in the meta either. Kali mains I recommend you to try this in a game. Maybe you can even do better and have more positive results than moi.
