why arent champs put into stasis as soon as theyre unable to act upon death of a nexus?

title pretty much says it all? It's super rare but still quite odd that after a nexus is destroyed when youre no longer able to input any commands that you can still be killed. Since any deaths from this shows up in in your kdr it really shouldnt be possible since it technically occurred after the match ended. I dont see why all champs arent put into stasis when the nexus is destroyed.

you can't be killed when the nexus is broken

Because some people want to make one last play when the game ends.

im specifically referring to after the match is won/lost when you can no longer enter any commands or make any plays

Nothing counts after the nexus dies, on the chance that another action takes affect at the same time the nexus dies how is that bad?

i was 4/3 and then i died after the nexus and my kdr was 4/4 soooo you cant see my kdr i dont think but you can see in my video reply above that enemy kills went from 49 to 50

You would have died anyway if the nexus hadn't exploded. And kdr doesn't have any meaninful purpose, on the rare occasion that it is used as a soft stat (once a year?) a single death isn't going to outweigh a loss (1.3 isn't much better than 1.0).

Besides it looks like the damage from gnar's Q just wasn't applied before the zhonyas because of the nexus event.

1: the only reason i was even not on fountain is because nexus was as good as dead and zhonyas was up to (and did) keep me alive until the match was over. 2: gnars q damage didn't take place because my zohnas happened a split second before it hit, this can be seen when my ult stops channeling which is well before gnars projectile contacts me 3:regardless of whether or not i would have died anyways, the fact remains that i was alive when the match ended, my kdr was 4/3 when the match ended, kdr reflects on your ability to play a champion and noone should be reflected poorly for something that happens to them after the match ends and while theyre unable to act 4: I had two viable courses of action that may well have kept me alive, i couldve walked downward to avoid the taliyah damage and then exhausted gnar I then couldve walked west towards fountain by which time tal's wall would have disintegrated enough for me to walk around or I could have walked north towards taliyah and eaten a minion to gain about 30% of my hp back. In either case my surviving was about 50% on the long term but significantly likely for the short gap between the nexus death and the victory screen had i been able to act.

  1. So you left fountain knowing you could accomplish nothing other than dying. That is literally the definition of feeding. But that's besides the point, so lets move on.
  2. If you watch closely his Q applies before you zhonyas. Your forgetting particle animation and champion animation do not define the mechanics. Hit-boxes (of both missile and avatar) are much bigger than just the avatar or missile. It's close but it still comes in contact with your model before zhonyas takes effect.
  3. No one looks at KDA/KDR except noobs/casuals and bads.
  4. Irrelevant (as well as a bit biased and off base).

  1. I in no way said i left fountain thinking i could accomplish nothing aside from dying. I left fountain to maybe get a kill or do some damage to enemies, in any case I had a very high chance of surviving until the match ended (which i did) and in no way planned to die.

  2. Not sure how you think his q applies before zhonyas, I clearly only have 1 stack of his passive which was from his aa, having been hit by his q would have given me a second stack. Also zhonyas starts when the boomerang animation is almost a full width away from nunu's body. The invulnerability begins notably before he turns gold. The period of invulnerability begins as soon as his ult aoe disappears due to zhonyas cancelling it.

  3. Your opinion isnt fact

  4. Not as irrelevant as pointing out that i might have died anyways.
