A suggestion to make Soraka less frustrating to play against, and more interactive to play as.

Soraka's kit has an awesome concept; sacrificing her own health to aid allies, and forcing her to engage in combat to restore her own health. The preseason changes have been kind to her, but her gameplay pattern is skewed by the existence of ally heals and health potions.

I would like to see the following changes:

  1. Astral Infusion Heal Range Reduced from 550 to 500.

  2. New Passive Effect: All external healing and regeneration effects have 50% reduced effect on Soraka. External is defined as anything that isn't Starcall or Wish (health potions included).

  3. Equinox cooldown slightly reduced at earlier ranks.

  4. Passive heal for landing starcall increased to 1.5% for every 1% of health she's missing.

These changes force Soraka to use her own kit's healing to sustain herself, reducing the skewed effects health potions have on her gameplay pattern. If Soraka wants to continue spamming heals, she must get into the fight and land a Q as opposed to chugging health potions in the back line.

Reducing her health range slightly also makes her slightly more vulnerable when going in for heals on front line. These two changes together should make her less frustrating to deal with for her opponents, as she'll have more windows of opportunity for her opponents to jump her.

Slightly reducing the cooldown of Equinox at earlier ranks allows her to keep up with the new threats in laning phase, and increasing the reward for landing a starcall when she's low further solidifies her playstyle.

I'm curious to hear how others would feel if Soraka had these changes, or what other changes they feel would make her less frustrating to play against.
