How to have an impact on the game as ADC when the support is AAing the minions or csing?

Hey guys!

I have started to learn ADC and with MF I am having some successes. CSing is a prob for me but I am impriving at it. I am a support main so I know how important minions are for the ADC and I AA them just enough so that my ADC can easily farm. But, now that I have started to play ADC, at times my support will start taking my minions. This isn't very common but it is still a prob. My recent match, I had a Taliyah support. At 5 min I was at 36 and she was 25. Final score 154 to 140. I became entirely useless as I was unable to do any dmg at all. So I wanna know how to deal with this situation. Instead of trying to tell my support to stop, whether calmly or angrily, I want to know how to still make an impact

Step 1. Git gud Step 2. Don't miss cs. Step 3. If your support is better at csing than you, buy a sightstone cuz u the support by virtue of not doing Step 1.

XD I've done this so many times to my ADC. Went as 14/0 as Sona once.

However, from what I have noticed that by aaing the minions, the ADC gets confused cuz they have some sort of rhythm. I don't really mind aaing to some extent, but at 5 min when they have more than 20 minions, it becomes really hard to do anything. And it's always the "support" support. Like Lux, Malz or Zyra

I wouldn't plan a way around this, just try and get farm where you can, jungle minions etc. it's not common, and they shouldn't do it and you can ask them not to.

It's not easy in Bronze lol. People have this mentality that they are the best at their roles and if you say anything to them, regardless of your tone, its too toxic. Also, they have this mentality, like the ADC is the bitchiest one, the top will always abandon the team, the jg and support are always at fault and mid never pings. (this is not a generalization and yes I have done this at times)

You will lose some games period. If your support is taking a lot of your cs, despite asking, just try and learn something else. You're bronze, you're in bronze because you have things to learn, not because people are taking your cs.

of course I have things to learn. In fact the best players also have things to learn. I didn't say that I am losing because of my support taking my cs. I was asking what do if such a situation happens

You shouldn't be able to lose that much CS over the course of the lane phase to the support's autoattacks. The only reason to miss that much is if they're spamming abilities on the low health minions, too, because their AA will never do more damage than yours (one of the reasons I hate Zyra supp and some Sona players).

If you get better at managing the minions' hp you should be fine. Don't let them all get low at the same time.
