Every Game is winnable....

...to a point.

Out of 3 ranked games this morning.

Yi game, rofl stomped and they ff @ 20

Vi game, Shen and his team constantly invaded me while my team ignored all my pings. I was stupid and didn't back off cause I ASSUMED my team would come without actually checking to see if they were. Also I have not fought a Shen in a long ass time, he doesn't go down and cannot be 1v1'd. Lesson learned. We got steam rolled.

J4 game, this was a loss, but we held on and got a last baron after losing 2 mountian drakes and 2 barons. SOMEHOW we won. The amount of effort was monumental. Team really came together and coordinated on who to focus and we picked good fights and DIDN'T flame. Our communication was solely pings and emotes at a certain point, the turning point.

(Correction, lost 2, won 2. Of course I broke even! Duh! Forgot I played 4 instead of 3.)

(I still am sitting at 16LP, exactly where I started. I won two games and only broke even... I don't care what my "MMR" is, I should be fucking climbing... but that's a different post)

I'm the opposite, can lose several, win 1 and break even. MMR is ALL That should matter, not LP. MMR is skill based, LP is not.

Bro a couple days ago I had one of my most fun games this season, I was jayce midlane our botlane was absolutely awful but I Damn near carried that game, went 45 min and we lost b/c i went too deep in the last teamfight.

But honestly those close game that are much harder to win are actually the most fun, much more satisfying than the stomp fests that are more common now :(.

Completely agree. I'd be content losing EVERY game if they were all good like that. I never feel bad about a good long and challenging game where anyone can win it.

Every game is in theory winnable. Every single game. The chances just go down based on champion picks, amount of a lead, how many objectives have been stacked into that lead to prevent a come back, and the players piloting the champions. For example that Vi game:

Both teams had a similar scaling team comp and equal amount of CC and pick potential. The difference was that the enemy team snowballed a lead off YOUR misplay and continue to spread that lead around the map (like they are supposed to). You seem to have tilted off the planet to have died 10 times for no reason yet only placed a single control ward the entire game where you were "constantly" invaded.

The thing about this game is that just because the enemy team has a lead doesn't mean you have to try and force the tempo of the game back in your favor. In some cases it is better to sit back and merely try to prevent/minimize their lead from growing. Had you guys held out another 10 minutes you may have gotten a pick on their Jinx that led to a baron and inhibitor. Another 5 minutes after that you may have landed another pick that landed you a GG. At our ELO (anything below D1 tbh) players need to stop with the mentality that it's "GG" at 5 minutes. Hell even watching challenger games I see players say "It was GG in champ select" only to turn the game around off a pick and say "I dont know how we won this game".
