Supports taking Sightstone

What if there was a new summoner spell that was essentially sightsone? Not a farsight trinket or anything but the same stats as sightsone that you built into. Kind of like how smite is now. I see soooo many supports playing without a sightstone and I feel like that in itself is intentionally feeding/trolling. Sure, you might win some of the games, but it instantly sets you behind. Idk, I feel like it is common knowledge at this point that just like junglers taking smite, supports buy a sightstone.

i would miss my exhaust but taking the fully upgraded sup items would make me super happy. I love my some burst of movement speed and some spooky ghosts but cant bring myself to dedicates two items for warding and income.

How can people say wards are useless? They give you vision and can save your life countless times. I just posted this after playing a ADC game which is my worst nightmare when support doesn't build a sightstone came true. You are blind a majority of the game. A champion could be MIA but that means they could be at dragon, red, blue, baron, tri... you get the point. And if we are still being honest, support is the most sh*t role in the game, a god tier support CAN carry but the potential is half that of a carry lane. If i feel like winning I never think to myself... lets go support. I play support because I actually like the role so I must be some sadistic weirdo, but if I am NEEDING a win support will not be a choice, even though it is my favorite and I think my best skillful position.

I just think if a jungler didn't take smite you would consider that intentionally making your game more difficult to win, same goes for a sightstone and support. 800 gold is not that much for the amount of vision you can get out of it.

The people that say wards are useless are the ones who place like 5 or 6 in a game and probably blame their JG for not warning them that they were about to get ganked when they overextend without vision.

Wards are useless, if your team has no map awareness. You can have the whole map revealed and some people will still get ganked and feed. If your goal in the game is grouping and pushing in the open, sightstone is useless, better get more auras or tankiness on the support,

Sight stone is almost a useless item =\ this is why. Vision can EASILY cover 1 half of the map with 2 pink wards and everyone using their trinket once =.

But sometimes you have to change your trinket to a sweeper... so in this situational situation you would get the sight stone.

All items are situational you just have to understand that. Vision is important but with good map awareness you don't need LOTS of vision to know where the enemy is =\

You know what helps with map awareness? Being able to see the enemy on the map. Next time you play a support, do yourself and your team a favor and buy a sightstone, buy a sweeper so you can deny enemy vision, buy more pinks, and place more wards.
