Cool as it may be...

Quinn's nearsight blind really needs to go. Thematic or not, it's an absolute fucking pain to fight and really just doesn't feel fair, even if you're melee. It leaves you with absolutely no idea what's going on, where to go, where damage is coming from, and you either have no idea where to aim your abilities or can't use them at all. And in order to be able to do any of that, you need to be well within the range of Quinn or... virtually any other target.

The nearsight blind is cool and all, but in my honest opinion it really just spits in the face of clarity. It's so powerful because it removes your ability to know and thus react to what's going on around you. I realize Blinding Assault is an iconic aspect of Quinn's kit and very important to her playstyle, but when you can't understand what's killing you or what's going on in the fight, that is not healthy gameplay. Even worse, once you're afflicted with nearsight there is no means of removing it; I actively checked the wiki before writing this sentence, it cannot be cleansed or removed by QSS/Mercurial.

I'll admit I'm not crazy about some of Quinn's enormous burst, but beyond that I really don't care about her one way or another. I don't want to see her gutted, and I don't want to see her overbearing and top-tier. But Quinn's blind removes clarity from the gameplay experience, and that's a huge no-no in my book. It either needs to be massively adjusted, or exchanged for something else that can offer utility while still preserving clarity.

/rant. Now I'll go get my helmet and visor.

Yeah, and playing League blind is playing without clarity, which Riot is staunchly against.

They don't like it when people are unable to understand what killed them or what happened, because it induces frustration and a sense of unfairness.

There's a line where functional health has to take priority over thematic accuracy.

there is a difference between clarity and vision ( for lack of a better word).

riot is against players not understanding or misinterpreting a skills effects/hitbox/interactions. they are NOT against abilities that in anyway limit your ability to play at any given moment if that were the case riot would have changed nocturnes ult which has been in the game FAR longer then nearsight.

Nocturne's ult only removes team vision, so you can still see the enemy team. That means you can see their position, their movements, and their incoming attacks. You just can't see where they are from the perspective of your allies or wards.

Quinn's Q, which is on a much lower cooldown, costs less mana, has a better AD scaling (120% total AD vs Noc's 120% bonus AD), and marks the target with her passive, completely restricts your vision. Unless you are essentially face to face with the enemy or land a lucky hit, you are incapable of doing anything except trying to run away and pray, all while having absolutely no idea what's killing or attacking you.

again missing the big points, i used noc ult as a comparision. you dont want to be near sighted dodge the skill shot or stand behind casters or your tank

Side note: also fyi in a team fight whe a noc ults the backline can't see the enemy back line due to positioning and can get ham blasted by long range mages.

also foot note: they changed it to nearsight and took away blind because with all of quinns new damage she was impossible to deal with in a lot of cases. reverting her power just makes her stronger.
