There is a difference between suspension and suppression.

In this game's terminology sense. Suspension can be cleansed via Cleanse, Quicksilver Sash, Remove Scurvy, etc... while Suppression cannot be cleansed via the summoner spell Cleanse. So far only Nami, Yasuo and Vel'koz have it on their spells.

Just putting this out there since a lot of people are confusing these 2 terms.

Suspension isn't actually a League mechanic. The term is usually Airborne, and, while it can indeed by cleansed by those effects, it's present on MANY more characters than those listed. It's the term for any sort of forced movement, since knockbacks and similar moves make the victim airborne in a direction.

An extra important thing is that Cleanse, Quicksilver, and similar effects only remove the stun associated with the effect: the movement still occurs, which is why these abilities often don't seem as effective against things like pulls or knock-backs.

So the following characters cause airborne somewhere on their kit:

  • Aatrox
  • Anivia
  • Alistar
  • Aurelion Sol
  • Azir
  • Blitzcrank
  • Braum
  • Camille
  • Cho'Gath
  • Corki
  • Darius
  • Diana
  • Draven
  • Fizz
  • Galio
  • Gnar
  • Gragas
  • Ivern
  • Hecarim
  • Janna
  • Jarvan IV
  • Jayce
  • Kalista
  • Kled
  • Lee Sin
  • Lulu
  • Malphite
  • Maokai
  • Nami
  • Nautilus
  • Orianna
  • Poppy
  • Rek'Sai
  • Riven
  • Quinn
  • Rammus
  • Sejuani
  • Shyvana
  • Singed
  • Sion
  • Skarner
  • Syndra
  • Taliyah
  • Thresh
  • Tristana
  • Trundle
  • Vayne
  • Vel'Koz
  • Vi
  • Viktor
  • Volibear
  • Wukong
  • Xin Zhao
  • Yazuo
  • Zac
  • Ziggs
  • Zyra

As for Suppression? Quicksilver Sash actually works against it, although Cleanse does not.
