yo why does zyra have really good damage throughout the entire course of the game? early game level 2 spike can push adcs off the turret and late game ult combo with enough plants can deter an entire team off a tower

yeah its pretty dumb either way how some champs can nuke so much in the beginning and others have to wait all game and still barely do anything compared to them

It's because her damage scales not only with AP, but with the number of plants she spawns. Theoretically she can kill an AD instantly at level 1 if she can get like 10 plants all at once. It's similar to Malzahar where a lot of his damage scales with the number of void crabs he has.
